posted: Feb 15th, 2026 It was only two weeks ago that the French Aethers made their indoor statement at the Wind Games 2026. However, the event did not mark the end of their indoor season, as the team is aiming to secure another victory at the Indoor World Cup in April. Despite their continued indoor ambitions, their main focus remains the Outdoor World Championship in October. The Aethers are determined to maintain their position at the top of the 4-way world rankings throughout the entire year. posted: Feb 13th, 2026 The recent NSL News story of the Golden Knights included a review and comparison with the U.S. Army’s 4-way lineup from 2001 to 2003, including 8-way world champions of 1995 and 1997, John Hoover and Eric Heinsheimer. The update also mentioned that their teammate Kurt Isenbarger later added his name to the William H. Ottley Sword for 8-way world champions — also known as the 8-way Excalibur — in Dubai 2012. posted: Feb 11th, 2026 The Golden Knights 4-way team enter the season as the reigning U.S. indoor and outdoor champions. This year, they will represent the United States at the sport’s premier event, the outdoor world championship. The last time this happened was in Gap 2003, when Eric Heinsheimer, John Hoover, Kurt Isenbarger, and Chris Talbert competed for the U.S. Army and the U.S. delegation in France. posted: Feb 10th, 2026 NSL News reported on January 15th that the Paraclete XP lineup had changed once again shortly after the start of the new year. The major shift followed the FAI Indoor World Championship 2025, when the three Golden Knights in the active lineup—Drew Starr, Jesse Stahler, and Mike Conners—stepped back from the team, along with John D'Annunzio, Andrew Happick, and Matt Davidson. Jeana Billings and Kirk Verner remained and began recruiting new teammates. At the time, Smith was already in Empuriabrava, Spain, preparing to guide the Belgian 4-way team toward a second-place finish behind the French Aethers. He shared his final insights ahead of Round 1, which ultimately finalized the NSL Power Rankings in the last preview before the competition. posted: Feb 9th, 2026 Jan Klapka's Indoor Cloud League team at the Hurricane Factory in Prague responded quickly to the last-minute loss of the 2025 competition. Kyle Hermberg's team at iFLY Dallas had taken first place in the ICL 2025 season from the Hurricane Factory in December, as the NSL News reported on January 11th. The December competition of the Indoor Cloud League 2025 season was the only one that Skywalkers Most did not attend last year.
