Did you know that Gary Smith dissected the NSL Power Rankings? posted: Aug 19th, 2026 The run-up to the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2026 began for the NSL News on May 7th, when the first NSL Power Rankings were created based on the previous FAI outdoor competition, the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025 at Skydive Teuge in the Netherlands. The NSL News filtered out the national 4-way teams that competed at the event to create an event-specific leaderboard.
The same ten national teams were then ranked alongside other 4-way Open Class teams that were registered or expected to compete at Skydive Arizona in Eloy this October. The result was the first set of “speculative predictions”... (more)
Did you know that Airbus and Satori XL members of 2016 oppose each other once again? posted: Aug 17th, 2026 The NSL News excursion back into the past on August 15th focused mostly on Pete Allum and his unique career in formation skydiving competition and other events. It also included a look at his current time with British 4-way team SOAR, where he has reunited with his former Satori XL teammate Julia Swallow.
The same story included a brief review of the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2016, where Julia Swallow and Pete Allum competed together for Satori XL after qualifying as the British national 4-way Open Class team in 2015 and completing a year of training and competition.

Did you know that three 4-way Women teams made the Top 10 in 2008, and Eliana Rodriguez won 4-way Open? posted: Aug 16th, 2026 The progression of 4-way Women performances at outdoor world championships continued at Maubeuge 2008, even though participation began to decline. Eight 4-way Women teams competed at the event in France, and the top three all made the Top 10 on the combined leaderboard.
No 4-way Women team made the Top 10 when the event was introduced in Spain 2001. V-Max finished 10th in Gap 2003, while two teams made the Top 10 in both Rijeka 2004 and Gera 2006.

Did you know that Pete Allum celebrates 41 years of outdoor world championship competition in Eloy? posted: Aug 15th, 2026 It was not only British team SOAR’s Julia Swallow who combined indoor and outdoor championship titles in 2024, as the NSL News mentioned yesterday and in the article published on 17 November 2024. She won British indoor gold with NFTO three months after winning the outdoor title with SOAR. In fact, she successfully defended both titles in 2025 with the same two teams.
However, she was not alone in achieving this double in 2025. SOAR won the British outdoor championship with the same lineup as in 2024, while NFTO competed without Sian Stokes at the indoor championship in November. Her SOAR... (more)
Did you know that British team SOAR could be Echochamber's toughest opponent? posted: Aug 14th, 2026 The previews of the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2026 continue with an evaluation of the unofficial 4-way amateur team competition, while medal contenders Golden Knights and NMP PCH HayaBusa face each other at the CISM World Championship 2026. HayaBusa coach Gary Smith said that the official training jump is scheduled for Saturday, with Round 1 potentially following on Sunday.

Did you know that the next Golden Knights – NMP PCH HayaBusa duel is on its way? posted: Aug 13th, 2026 Today is the first official day of the military CISM World Championship 2026, which the NSL News has brought to its audience’s attention several times. The event has its own rules and regulations, which differ from those of other FAI/ISC events and produce higher scores and averages. The results therefore cannot realistically be compared with those at FAI World Championships and World Cups, or with other national championships that follow the rules of civilian formation skydiving competition.
