posted Sep 7th, 2026 - NMP PCH HayaBusa fans now have the opportunity to watch the latest 25.3 performance at the BENELUX Outdoor Championship 2026, where the Belgians faced no serious direct competition. They finished 71 points ahead of the next Belgian 4-way Open Class team, Ayro.

It was the third outdoor competition for NMP PCH HayaBusa since June, when they competed at the Paraclete XP Summer Classic 2026 alongside their top U.S. rivals, the Golden Knights. The results of the CISM World Championship 2026 have not been entered into the NSL database due to the different military competition format. The two 4-way thrillers in Raeford in June and Slovakia in August brought out the best in both teams, and the meets score is currently tied. There was only a one-point difference between them at the CISM World Championship, while the Golden Knights won the XP Summer Classic by four points.

Only the Golden Knights have another task before the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2026, which begins at the end of this week. Arizona Airspeed will take NMP PCH HayaBusa’s place and give the U.S. Army team all the resistance possible with its new lineup. Airspeed posted a 24.9 average at the same event in June, their first outdoor competition with the current lineup.

The more exciting competition last week at Skydive Flanders in Schaffen, Belgium, unfolded just behind NMP PCH HayaBusa, where Ayro and Out Of The Blue (OOTB), the Dutch national 4-way Open Class team, battled it out over the same ten rounds that NMP PCH HayaBusa was performing.

The Belgian national team did not deliver another extraordinary performance of the kind they usually produce when facing serious opposition. However, Ayro and OOTB had the pressure of a close contest needed to bring out their best, and both teams posted new team-record averages over the same ten sequences performed by HayaBusa.

In their third year with the current lineup, Ayro outscored the Dutch national team once again, following their five-point victory at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2026 (239–235). Out Of The Blue had dominated this rivalry since the two teams first met in the AAA Class competition at the Tomscat Trophy 2019. It took six years of patience and persistence before Ayro’s current lineup finally defeated their Dutch opponents for the first time at the BENELUX Championship 2025.

Ayro can meet Out Of The Blue only at events other than the FAI Indoor and Outdoor World Championships. The giant Belgian obstacle of NMP PCH HayaBusa takes up all the space at the top, even though Ayro has the potential to compete for the unofficial amateur world championship title as a recreational 4-way team.

Ayro actually started in the A Class competition in 2017 and moved up to AA in 2018 before entering the AAA Class world in 2019. Year by year, they steadily raised their performance level, a development that went largely unnoticed as the entire 4-way world was focused on NMP PCH HayaBusa, who won their last two world championships in 2018 and 2021 before rebuilding their lineup and working their way back to the top of the world.

In the meantime, Ayro has become the second-strongest Belgian 4-way team, strong enough to break into the world’s Top 10 Open rankings this year. The Open Top 10 also includes the 4-way Women’s team Nephtys Maubeuge and Arizona Airspeed. Only France (Aethers, Nephtys), the United States (Golden Knights, Arizona Airspeed), and Belgium (HayaBusa, Ayro) have more than one 4-way team in the Top 10. Only Thunder ISR and ISR Fireflash had previously achieved the same for Belgium. Now, for the first time, it is Ayro’s turn to join the Top 10.
