News Article Did you know that Florida teams trained at iFLY Orlando for the NSL Championship 2011?
posted: Nov 9th, 2011 The Florida Skydiving League and iFLY Orlando held the next FSL Tunnel Kicker last night at the longest standing windtunnel in Orlando. This time, the camp had a different purpose after the previous events dedicated the 90 minutes of flying time to skydivers in Florida who would like to test and join the Formation Skydiving 4way community. The Florida Skydiving League offered the complimentary windtunnel training time to the teams that will compete for the FSL at the upcoming NSL Championship at SkyQuest 2011 in DeLand. News Article Did you know that teams in the Czech Republic attended the 1st Sportflight Indoor Meet?
posted: Nov 8th, 2011 The aftermath of the USPA Nationals 2011 will continue for a while, and the first correction was provided by an NSL News reader. The NSL News mentioned that the Golden Knights had their most successful USPA Nationals in history with three gold medals (8way, 10way, 16way) and one silver medal (4way), plus the qualification of the female 4way lineup as the US national team for 2012. Only Arizona Airspeed avoided a complete US Army sweep this year, and the Airspeed delegation remains the only one that has ever managed to win all Formation Skydiving events. posted: Nov 7th, 2011 The last video of the NSL News coverage at the USPA Nationals 2011 has been uploaded, and it is one of the most interesting ones. The live NSL Talk with SDC Rhythm XP after the completion of the 16way event comes along with all ten competition rounds, courtesy of USPA and Skydive Arizona. The rollercoaster event for the youngest top team provided an experience that could be very helpful when Rhythm will eventually compete for the top spot of the USPA leaderboard one day. News Article Did you know that the Golden Knights had their most successful USPA Nationals in history?
posted: Nov 6th, 2011 The last two 10way rounds were still completed at the USPA Nationals 2011, and Arizona Airspeed managed to catch up with Team *@#!? to claim the silver medals in the last Formation Skydiving event this year. The Golden Knights took and maintained the 10way gold medal position from the beginning to the end. This made the USPA Nationals 2011 the most successful national championships for the US Army delegation ever since the current 10way and 16way formats were introduced, and it goes even further back in history. News Article Did you know that NSL-TV features two different award ceremonies?
posted: Nov 5th, 2011 The 10-way competiton is up for today at the USPA Nationals 2011, and the link to the live streaming is still available. There has not been much footage coming across so far though. The Golden Knigts are holding the first place in this event after four rounds. The 10way lineup consists of the complete 8way team and two members of the female 4way lineup (Laura Dickmeyer, Angela Nichols), Andrew Starr is filming again. News Article Did you know that the 16way competition was another thriller?
posted: Nov 3rd, 2011 Another fierce battle was coming into its final stage on Thursday afternoon. The 16way competition brought back the annual meeting of the Golden Knights and Arizona Airspeed linups. That's when several other competitors and friends have the unique opportunity to join forces with the best skydivers in the world. This year, Arizona Airspeed's lineup consisted of the current 4way team. Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard of the previous lineup, plus Dan BC and Jack Jefferies were already in the 8way lineup and continued in 16way, except Dan BC. The complete SDC Rhythm XP lineup made it an 11way.... (more)
