Did you know that the Carolina Fly Girls are still having loads of fun? posted: Nov 19th, 2011 Kaleidoscope Divers and 4way teams spent most of Saturday on the ground. Only a few 4way jumps were done, first thing in the morning and at the end of the day. The bigway fans had already canceled for the day when the skies cleared up completely and allowed a few very patient teams to get in the air.
The NSL News used the downtime for several interesting NSL Talk sessions. The first one features the Carolina Fly Girls who traveled to DeLand from Skydive Carolina in Chester. Dani Bridges, Ashley Martin, Kathy Stringer and Katie Rajala explained to the NSL News why they have so much fun with their... (more)
Did you know that the Owls delivered high-quality bigways at SkyQuest 2011? posted: Nov 18th, 2011 Day 2 at SkyQuest 2011 was almost the opposite of the Thursday situation. There were not the highest expectations to get much jumping done due to the weather situation on the first day, and both Kaleidoscope teams, the Hawks and the Owls, completed three and two bigways.
The skies over DeLand were clear in the morning and sunny all day long today, and both groups still only completed one more jump. The winds on the back side of the front passing through on Thursday kept Kaleidoscope Divers and 4way fans on the ground after a successful start in the morning.
However, especially BJ Worth's... (more)

Arizona Airspeed mastered the 3-block sequence of Round 7 like a champion with a clean 21-pointer and won another round. Perris Fury finished the day with a devastating 4-point loss to both the Golden Knights Gold and SDC Rhythm XP after having just caught up with Rhythm in Round 6. The Golden Knights maintained a 1-point distance to Rhythm and... (more)
Did you know that SkyQuest 2011 is now in full swing? posted: Nov 17th, 2011 In the meantime, the Kaleidoscope Dives of SkyQuest 2011 have begun. The weather was not very promising for Thursday, and it all started in the morning as expected. A low ceiling, with rain and dark clouds did not allow any jumping.
However, the time was needed to prepare for registration, briefings and the first jump preparations. BJ Worth and his team captains have split up the 200+ Kaleidoscope Divers into the Hawks and the Owls. The Falcons and Eagles had competed with two 100-way groups at SkyQuest 2009. It seems as if BJ Worth likes birds - and he really does.
Both groups got to work... (more)

It is pure coincidence that exciting news came from Germany just a few days after the Polaris update. ISB Air Remscheid is coming back with the same lineup and has secured great support to make it quickly back to the top level of female 4way competition after almost a 1-year break.
ISB Air Remscheid had Susa Serra in the lineup... (more)
