The female 4way lineup of the US Army delegation, silver medalists at the World Cup 2013, even tied Paraclete XP's 21-pointer in Round 7 and are now four points ahead of Carolina Turbo XP in the race for the USPA bronze medals in the Open Class competition.

However, this year's situation after Round 7 is unique in the history of the event.
It has never been the case yet that the team in 8th place is still in medal contention, only four points away from the bronze medal position. The race for gold, silver and bronze medals is far from being over with three more rounds to go.

It is grey and cold and rainy. The teams at the USPA Nationals 2013 are on a weather hold until noon, which could be extended if nothing changes.
There was a good side to it, as the judges were able to catch up with yesterday's action. The scores for Round 6 in all three traditional 4way categories (Open/Advanced) and Round 7 in the AA/Intermediate Class were posted during the weather hold, and the leaderboards are up-to-date now.

Did you know that Arizona Airspeed still has plenty of work and challenges ahead in Ottawa? posted: Sep 14th, 2013 The teams are done for Saturday at the USPA Nationals 2013, and it seems as if the judges will continue with their work in the morning.
All AAA Class teams (Open and Advanced) completed six rounds, while the AA/Intermediate Class teams actually did another round and were finished after Round 7. All scores are posted until Round 5, and no new score sheets are coming out of the judging room.

Did you know that Carolina Turbo XP could be on USPA medal course? posted: Sep 14th, 2013 There is no question who will win the AAA/Open Class gold medals at the USPA Nationals 2013, and SDC Rhythm XP will most likely take the 2nd place on the leaderboard. However, the fact that Rhythm is not eligible for USPA medals creates a more interesting battle for the other two top USPA spots.
Paraclete XP4 is probably the safest bet for the 3rd place on the leaderboard and silver medals without any major troubles. It becomes really interesting when it comes to the bronze medals. Carolina Turbo XP's turn into a professional skydiving work and team environment is showing results.
