News Article Did you know that Espoir Weembi Maubeuge keeps moving closer to Espoir Weembi Saumur?
posted: Jan 6th, 2018 The NSL News had introduced the two current French B-teams with the story on 23 July 2017. At that time, Espoir Weembi Saumur and Espoir Weembi Maubeuge had launched the 2017 season at the French Indoor Nationals 2017 and then attended the second Coupe de France competition in July. The more experienced Saumur lineup was also in Bedford for the World Challenge 2017 before the NSL News story was published. After the NSL News introduction of the teams they both traveled to Saarlouis in Germany for the FAI World Cup 2017, where they joined the French national team in 4-way Open, RealFly-Sion,... (more)
News Article Did you know that five Indoor Cloud League teams collected more than 1000 points in 2017?
posted: Jan 5th, 2018 The 14+ leaderboard for the December competition of the Indoor Cloud League is complete. The Florida Skydiving League team was the last one to submit scores and videos from iFLY Tampa, and the five lineups together collected 123 points for the second highest total last month. Each of the five lineups contributed to the December total, and Florida's Rookie Class lineups were the biggest point-getter this time. The RRR Class team had support from a guest who visited from the Midwest Skydiving League. Zac Armstrong competed at two MWSL meets this year with Rampage. He joined the team for the... (more)
News Article Did you know that learning happens outside of one's comfort zone?
posted: Jan 4th, 2018 The Florida and Northwest Skydiving Leagues launched the Indoor Cloud League in July 2012, and NWSL Director Deb Correia may have never missed an ICL event ever since. She and her husband Dave Correia were on vacation in December 2017 and could neither organize nor attend the ICL December event at iFLY Seattle. Deb Correia was prepared for the situation though, as she had worked together closely with the Seattle Swift members for a while and at many ICL events. Seattle Swift's Djordje Mandaric was once again available to help, and he offered to assist with the whole event organization this... (more)

posted: Jan 3rd, 2018 The NSL News had posted the ultimate 4-way rankings of 2017 with the story on 26 December 2017. It was the combination of 4-way indoor and outdoor results that determined the rankings of the best all-round 4-way teams in the world. Only the Top 10 teams were listed in the ultimate 4-way rankings when the story was published, even though the SKYLEAGUE.COM database has much more to offer. The NSL News mentioned that it was a very close race with a few other teams in the race for the last Top 10 spot and promised to follow up. Swedish team Echochamber was in 10th place, and the distance to Amnesya... (more)
News Article Did you know that Paraclete XP gained 27 more points on the Indoor Cloud League 14+ leaderboard for 2017?
posted: Jan 2nd, 2018 It did not take too long until the Paraclete XP team had a strong response to the latest Indoor Cloud League December scores from the Hurricane Factory. It was also not a big surprise that the U.S. team could quite easily take advantage of a weaker Czech performance for the last month of the 2017 season. However, the Hurricane Factory could afford not winning the December competition, due to a comfortable lead going into the last month of the year. HF Bad Boys and HF Flying Circus were still able to keep up with the strong Paraclete lineups for the AAA and AA Class sequences, while the higher... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Hurricane Factory had a tough 2017 finish in December?
posted: Jan 1st, 2018 The Indoor Cloud League scores for the month of December will conclude the complete 2017 standings on both leaderboards, and the last scores and videos keep coming in. The 2017 leader on the 14+ leaderboard, the Czech Hurricane Factory in Prague, had a difficult month. Organizer and Bad Boys member Jan Klapka was down with a winter flu and could not be of much help this time. His own team is also missing inside center Vaclav Prokeš who is abroad for work for a little while. HF Flying Circus member Martina Vavackova was helping out in December and tied her own 23-pointer in the AAA Class... (more)
