News Article Did you know that Round 1 is out of the way for teams and coaches in Teuge?
posted: Aug 29th, 2025 The first NSL News update on Friday morning included yesterday's last activities of the day before Round 1, opening ceremony, competition draw and preparations for the first round of the competition. The second NSL TV Unfiltered video clip on Friday morning was still recorded before Round 1. It is a very exciting time for the coaches, observers, friends and family too, who are done with getting... (more)
News Article Did you know that balloons popped open with numbers and letters at the opening ceremony?
posted: Aug 29th, 2025 The official opening ceremony concluded the training day on the 28th of August. It was originally scheduled for the same time at a different location nearby, which would have better resembled the Dutch culture and geography. However, the weather situation with rain in the forecast caused the re-location of the opening ceremony to Tent City. It did not change the atmosphere of the event and for the participants who were introduced with their complete delegations as usual. The sun was back at the time of the ceremony, and it became a very colorful parade of uniforms and flags into the huge tent... (more)

posted: Aug 27th, 2025 The NSL News reported earlier that the Qatar delegation at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025 includes only the 8-way team, Qatar Falcons. The 4-way Open Class teams Cheetahs and Lions canceled their participation after the tragic loss of a Lions member, and the Qatar 4-way coaches Gary Smith and Luc Verstrepen had no work assignment any longer. However, Gary Smith has lived in the Netherlands with this family, on the island of Texel, since 2008. Skydive Teuge is within driving distance for him, and he mentioned in earlier conversations that he was planning to visit the event as much as possible. It... (more)
