posted Jun 16th, 2026 - The June 6/7 weekend also featured the latest edition of the Cloud Games, an event that has applied the format of the international NSL 4-way Network once a year since 2021. The competition offers 4-way events in three of the four NSL categories (AAA, AA and A), along with a separate Rookie Class that uses the A Class dive pool. However, the Rookie Class has yet to attract any participation since the event was introduced.

The event can take place at an unlimited number of locations, although participation in USPA's AAA Class categories (Open and Advanced) has remained limited. In fact, both the previous event in 2025 and this month's edition featured teams only in the AA/Intermediate Class (6) and A/Beginner Class (7). Eight of the 13 teams on this year's leaderboard are from the United States.

The winning teams in both categories, Spaceland Dallas Pajama Party (AA/Intermediate Class) and STF4 (A/Beginner Class), already had a competitive history in the NSL 4-way Network. The members of Pajama Party have been regular participants in the Indoor Cloud League events managed by their coach, Kyle Hermberg, at iFLY Dallas. The current lineup then formed the team in 2025 and posted its first outdoor scores at last year's Cloud Games.

Pajama Party won ahead of SDD Intravenous XP, which had reversed the outcome of the rivalry at the USPA Nationals 2025. This time, Pajama Party successfully defended its Cloud Games AA/Intermediate Class title while performing at a significantly higher scoring level than in its previous victory. The Texas team is now considered one of the leading contenders for AA/Intermediate Class medals at the upcoming national outdoor championship.

Spaceland Dallas Pajama Party had already launched its 2026 outdoor competition season in April, posting an 11.4 average after five rounds of the Texas Skydiving League. This time, the team completed all ten rounds of the Cloud Games and finished with a 10.1 average. TSL Director Scott Latinis has scheduled two additional meets to help Texas teams prepare for the USPA Nationals.

New Georgia team STF4 from Skydive The Farm had so far posted scores only for iFLY Atlanta on the Indoor Cloud League leaderboards in April and May, where they competed in two of the three Rookie Class sequences (RR/RRR). The Cloud Games competition presented a new challenge, requiring them to master all eight blocks in the A/Beginner Class dive pool.

The A/Beginner Class uses a new dive pool this year compared to the one applied in 2025. Block 1 (Molar - Molar) has replaced Block 8 (Canadian T - Canadian T), while Block 13 (Mixed Accordion - Mixed Accordion) has replaced Block 19 (Ritz - Icepick). The eight A/Beginner Class blocks for the 2026 season are 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 13 and 21 from the FAI/ISC dive pool. Fortunately, STF4 did not have to relearn any block maneuvers, as this is the team's first year in the sport. The transition may be more challenging for teams that previously trained and competed in the A/Beginner Class under the former dive pool.
