News Article Did you know that Out Of The Blue continue with Siem Ibens?
posted: Sep 1st, 2025 Sven Ibens is one of the original NMP PCH HayaBusa members, together with David Grauwels, who is still on camera for the current HayaBusa lineup. He lives not far from the border between Belgium and the Netherlands, and it was not much of a surprise that he came to visit the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025 yesterday. He did not train and compete with HayaBusa any longer when the FAI World Cup 2015 was hosted ten years ago by Skydive Teuge. However, his wife Annelies Hasewinkel-Ibens was a member of the Dutch 8-way team M8trix who challenged the Qatar Falcons for the FAI 8-way bronze medals in 2015,... (more)
News Article Did you know that the 4-way leaderboard is in motion?
posted: Sep 1st, 2025 The 4-way leaderboards are in motion at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025, even though the weather does not cooperate well so far. Each round has the potential to bring changes in the rankings, as the teams are close enough to each other all across the 4-way leaderboards. One more round was completed in 4-way, which did not change the rankings in the 4-way Open Class medal positions after Round 5 yet. However, it still featured a very outstanding situation, which has been seen only once since the French national team in 4-way Open, Aethers Lille, took the world's top spot. Aethers Lille have... News Article Did you know that Germany's Airbus 8-way team need a substitute?
posted: Aug 31st, 2025 The last NSL News update from the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025 on Saturday covered the 8-way competition after Round 2. The efforts of the German 8-way team Airbus Oceanside Illertissen to defend Germany's bronze medal position in the world was the main topic. The story mentioned that Airbus won the first FAI medals for Germany at a world championship since 1985 when they placed 3rd at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2022. Operation Adler defended the FAI bronze medals successfully at Crystal Coast 2024, and Airbus came to Skydive Teuge to do the same this year at the outdoor world cup. The... (more)
News Article Did you know that Airbus try to defend FAI 8-way bronze medals for Germany?
posted: Aug 30th, 2025 Matt Landsmann produced the daily summary of the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025 for Skydive Teuge, and Regan Tetlow was once again in charge of the entertaining part. The 6-minute video clip covered the activities on the first day of the competition. There was more than enough time on Saturday to watch whatever has been made available, as the weather situation did not allow any more rounds in any event until mid-afternoon. Teams and competitors were well prepared when the weather changed quickly, and meet director Ronald Overdijk, ISC delegate for the Netherlands, called all events into action as... (more)
News Article Did you know that Qatar Falcons and Prison 9 are much closer to each other than expected?
posted: Aug 30th, 2025 The NSL News mentioned in the last update from Skydive Teuge that Round 1 in the 8-way competition had a surprising outcome, as one of the three U.S. teams at the outdoor world cup finished the meet opener only one single point behind the undisputed favorite for the 8-way gold medals, the Qatar Falcons. Prison 9, with the complete current 4-way lineup of SDC Rhythm XP, including team videographer Charlie Mcgee, were three points ahead of the next U.S. team (Mandatory Fun!) and five points ahead of Bra Nok after Round 1. Prison 9 had met the Qatar Falcons last time at the previous outdoor world... (more)
News Article Did you know that Gary Smith and Mathieu Bernier evaluated the situation after Round 4?
posted: Aug 29th, 2025 The 4-way teams completed their first four rounds successfully, while the 8-way teams were stopped by cloudy weather after Round 1. This one single round was still more exciting than expected, as U.S. team Prison 9, with all SDC Rhythm XP members in the lineup, finished Round 1 only one single point behind the Qatar Falcons. The 1-point difference in Round 1 still needs to be confirmed by Prison 9 before they become a serious challenger for the Falcons. The Qatar 8-way team completed the whole Block 19 and were stopped in the transition to the 20th point, a Diamond Flake (F). while Prison 9... (more)
