News Article Did you know that NADS won the Coach's Choice Award of the Midwest Skydiving League?
posted: Jul 8th, 2013 Skydive Chicago held its first MWSL meet of the 2013 season on June 22, run by this year’s new MWSL director JaNette Lefkowitz and coached by Mikhail Markine, both from SDC Rhythm XP. The event was especially noteworthy since SDC is the location of the USPA Nationals later this year. With what appears to be the biggest turnout in MWSL history, ten teams took advantage of the opportunity to get a preview of what the big meet will be like. While the official meet was six rounds, three of the teams continued to complete all ten, and a number of them exited from 10,500 feet to simulate the... (more)

posted: Jun 30th, 2013 The Sun Path Products NSL News is still catching up with the previous meet weekend, while new scores of this weekend's meets have been posted on the leaderboard. SDC Rhythm XP's management of the Midwest Skydiving League meets included providing videos of the competition jumps, and the visual review of the second MWSL meet this year begins with the AA Class battle on the top of the leaderboard between Jetstream Tango and Hawks. The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 28 June 2013 how both teams finished in the two top spots of the AA Class overall leaderboard and provided additional information... (more)
News Article Did you know that SDC Jetstream Tango beat the 10-average benchmark in the team's 5th year?
posted: Jun 28th, 2013 The teams of the Midwest Skydiving League enjoyed much better weather last weekend compared to the season opener in May where six teams struggled to make any competition jumps. Ten teams attended the meet at Skydive Chicago, host of the USPA Nationals 2013. Only one of this year's 16 MWSL teams posted scores at both events, and 55 North used last weekend's competition to make up for the only two rounds at Chicagoland Skydiving. The AA Class team improved the meet average to 6.4 after completing all ten rounds. Another team did the same in the AA Class. SDC Accelerando, with player coach JaNette... (more)
News Article Did you know that Midwest and Czech Republic were far in distance but close in weather?
posted: May 29th, 2013 Last weekend's leaderboard is complete and shows that bad weather had a serious impact at all three locations (Midwest, Northern Plains, Czech Republic). Chicagoland Skydiving Center and Pribram in the Czech Republic are very far away from each other and still had both only two complete rounds. The situation in the Midwest was even worse, as only two teams had 35 seconds of working time in the whole meet (Round 2 in the AA Class). All other jumps were made from reduced altitude, and the scores have been extrapolated from 20/25 seconds to 35 seconds.May 25th, 2013Round 1Round 2Round 3Round... (more)
News Article Did you know that JaNette Lefkowitz announced the 2013 plans for the Midwest Skydiving League?
posted: Feb 27th, 2013 The NSL News provided a live update from the SDC Rhythm XP winter headquarters in Sebastian on 20 February 2013. The update included training videos and a live NSL Talk with the complete new lineup. Only team videographer Alex Bittner was not present. JaNette Lefkowitz also explained in the interview what she was planning for the 2013 season of the Midwest Skydiving League. Former MWSL Director Alan Butt suggested last year that the SDC Rhythm XP members could probably add new features and more time to one of the oldest leagues in the NSL Network, as the NSL News reported on 17 August 2012. Alan... (more)
News Article Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP's JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz might not have been in the sport without the Midwest Skydiving League?
posted: Aug 31st, 2012 This past Saturday Skydive Chicago hosted the fourth and final Midwest Skydiving League meet of the 2012 season. It was a beautiful morning with great jumping conditions, and six teams came to take advantage of it. Three of those teams registered for the AA Class, and they were all welcomed by a slow competition draw. The Hawks were joined by new team SDC Edge and veterans Jetstream Tango, back for their fourth season of MWSL competition. Despite a costly video problem in Round 1, Tango gave the Hawks a run for their money, but finished 2nd by three points in the weather shortened meet. Edge... (more)
