A closer look at the Intermediate Class leaderboard of the USPA Nationals 2010 supports what veteran coaches and competitors suggest from the very beginning: attend meets to collect as much competition experiences as possible.
All Top 10 teams in the Intermediate Class competition at the USPA Nationals attended at least one meet before they traveled to Skydive Chicago in September. Several of those ten best AA/Intermediate Class teams competed more than two times this year.

Did you know that Bodyflight Voluntas has a new lineup for 2011? posted: Oct 12th, 2010 New wind tunnel scores on the NSL leaderboard are coming from Denmark and the first national indoor championship of the Scandinavian country. The update from Denmark also included news of the national teams.
Denmark has had three national teams in the past years, lined up to provide the best talent for the official national 4-way team. Bodyflight Voluntas (Flemming Borop Andersen, Kasper Brandt-Svanekier, Kenneth Gajda, Brian Gregersen) has been the national team for the last two years.

Did you know that the discussion of the right-hand door is back on? posted: Oct 11th, 2010 A new round of discussion has resumed over an old topic. The related event is still two years away, however, the timing is crucial, as the topic is very important for the main actors in the show - the teams and competitors who will attend the next World Championship of Formation Skydiving in 2012.
The topic is once again the aircraft for the Formation Skydiving events at the next world meet. It has often and widely been discussed in the past, and it comes back up for a simple reason. Did you know that Mathieu Bernier has won six medals in the last four world meets? posted: Oct 9th, 2010 Several competitors have tried it in the past, some of them a few times, and some came close. There is only one who finally made it.
Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge member Mathieu Bernier is the first and only competitor who won two gold medals at the same World Meet, one in 4-way and another one in 8-way at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010.
It was a unique project. Usually, the previous attempts were done by complete 4-way lineups who also competed in 8-way. There were a few exceptions where 8-way had priority, and a 4-way lineup also competed at the same World Meet.

Did you know that the ArchRivals are the US Rookie Class team of the year? posted: Oct 8th, 2010 Two US teams are currently tied in 1st place for the honor of the busiest Rookie Class team in 2010. The regular season is over for the ArchRivals in the Midwest Skydiving League, while the Miami Dropouts have one more opportunity to get meet practice before the NSL Championship concludes the 2010 season at SkyQuest in November.
The ArchRivals will win the unofficial title of the Rookie Class season of the year, whether the Dropouts will attend another meet or not. The Miami team has scored a little bit higher and and surely deserves the same recognition, but there is one little difference that... (more)
Did you know that Fallout may have another go for the Advanced Class top spot? posted: Oct 7th, 2010 The NSL News goes back to the USPA Nationals 2010 and the coverage of the Advanced Class competition.
The story on 11 September 2010 had the defending champions as the topic, the SDC Furies, who were not eligible to compete again for USPA Advanced Class medals. The story on 20 September 2010 followed up with the new Advanced Class champion, Carolina Turbo XP.
