Did you know that Illusions' Round 5 damage was in the way of a new Russian record average? posted: Jan 30th, 2011 The NSL News has to go back one more time to the Dubai Championship 2011 before zooming in on the upcoming events.
However, it surely will not be the last time that Dubai will make the NSL News headline in the near future. At least the World Championship of Formation Skydiving as a part of the Mondial 2012, the Dubai 500 world record attempt and updates from Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard will bring back Dubai topics, as well.

Did you know that the IPC voted for Dubai and Offset - Spinner? posted: Jan 29th, 2011 Everything relevant for Formation Skydiving competition teams, competitors and officials is said and done.
First of all, the IPC Delegates (International Parachuting Commission) decided today at the plenary meeting in Montenegro that the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2012 will be hosted by Skydive Dubai. It is scheduled for November 29 - December 10.
The event is in fact a part of the next Mondial, which means that all parachuting/skydiving events will take place at the same place within this time period. The last Mondial was hosted by France in Maubeuge 2003. (more)
Did you know that the Winter/Spring Tour 2011 gets in full swing for the top teams? posted: Jan 28th, 2011 Each of the Winter/Spring Tour events that the top teams attend has its own meaning and background.
The Dubai Championship 2011 was like a mini world meet and brought together three of the four best Open Class teams in 2010. NMP-PCH Hayabusa and Aerodyne Aerokart used the opportunity to test their new lineups, while Arizona Airspeed was on a farewell vacation.
The next outdoor competition is the Valentine's Meet 2011, which features the new Airspeed lineup and once again the French national team. The results in Eloy will show how close the gold and silver medalists at the World Championship... (more)
Did you know that Alpha Armada's 20.0 in Dubai is the highest US average by a female lineup? posted: Jan 27th, 2011 There are actually only two teams in the female 4-way category that have ever scored a higher meet average than 20.0 at an outdoor competition. The French national team Aerokart Deep Blue did it three times. The first time was the 20.4 average at the World Cup 2009 in Prostejov after a 10-round meet. Sophie Deremaux, Bérangère Duplouy, Françoise Simons-Hamouchi and Amélie Tirman followed up with a 20.1 average after ten rounds at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2010.

Did you know that the NSL News will report live from Eloy at the Valentine's Meet? posted: Jan 26th, 2011 The good news of the soon upcoming Valentine's Meet 2011 continue. The NSL News will be reporting live from the competition site at Skydive Arizona in Eloy.
This means that the first direct confrontation between the new Arizona Airspeed lineup and Aerodyne Aerokart will be brought to the on-line audience with all usual features of NSL News live coverage. However, there are more great news, which are not only related to this exciting competition of the two world class teams.

Did you know that Olivier Henaff competes with with Dennis Praet for the best Dubai video? posted: Jan 25th, 2011 NMP-PCH Hayabusa's Dennis Praet is not the only world class competitor who is also a talented video producer at the same time. The NSL News had featured his clip of the Hayabusa experience at the Dubai Championship 2011 with the story on 13 January 2011.
Aerodyne Aerokart's videographer Olivier Henaff, reigning 4-way world champion, recently posted a video that features his own team in Dubai, as well. He seems to be closer to this kind of artwork since he is using the camera all the time due to his job for the team. However, his new video was a good reason to pick up a topic that his team mates...
