Did you know that the NSL News introduces the female 4-way field at the World Meet 2010? posted: Jul 24th, 2010 Only one week is left until the start of the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010. Next Saturday will be the official practice day in Menzelinsk, Russia, the first round is scheduled for Sunday morning.
The list of participating national teams is complete and has been added to the event pages of each category. The 8-way competition will feature only the race for the gold medals between the three 8-way giants France, USA and Russia. No other nations have registered 8-way teams for the event. Did you know that Monaco Aerial still has only three red jump suits this year? posted: Jul 23rd, 2010 The NSL News story on 17 May 2010 had covered the female 4-way competition at the World Challenge 2010 and paid special attention to the beautiful red jump suits of the two Brit Chicks teams.
There was one other team at Bodyflight Bedford that continued to use red jump suits. The French team Monaco Aerial, formerly know as Monaco Parachute Team, has actually used red suits ever since the team was founded. The NSL News brought this French 4-way project to the attention of the NSL audience the first time in 2007.

Did you know that Hayabusa NMP-PCH scored a 45-pointer with Block 7 at the CISM Championship? posted: Jul 22nd, 2010 The NSL News reported on 14 May 2010 that a challenging schedule was waiting for the Belgian national 4-way team Hayabusa NMP-PCH during the final stage of the Road to Russia and the upcoming World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010.
Hayabusa has the military commitment with the Belgian army, which has created the current situation.
The team has to represent Belgium at the military CISM Championships (Conseil International du Sport Militaire) and defend the gold medals of 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Did you know that MESL team Tenacity has a coach who knows how to win medals? posted: Jul 21st, 2010 Last weekend's leaderboard is complete, 58 teams participated in all four categories. The AAA Class leaderboard has been evaluated carefully with previous stories. An additional interesting aspect is the fact that the Top 5 teams represent five different countries (Finland - USA - France - Norway - Germany). Two of those five teams (Pro Team, X3M4S Elements) will soon travel to Menzelinsk in Russia and compete at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010.

Did you know that a new NSL-TV clip features the Chinese national 4-way team? posted: Jul 20th, 2010 The NSL News story on 5 February 2010 reported that two teams from China were visiting Skydive DeLand for a training camp with coach Solly Williams. One of the teams was the Chinese national 4-way team that will compete at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010.
The same lineup had represented China at the World Meet 2008 in Maubeuge, France, where the team finished in 20th place of 23 teams with a 7.7 average after six rounds. A video was posted in the same story that showed jumps of the Chinese team in 2009.

Did you know that two Scandinavian teams provided the next preview of the World Meet last weekend? posted: Jul 19th, 2010 The German teams completed seven rounds at the Mid-German Championships last weekend. Goal was a 10-round meet, but the weather did not cooperate well enough.
The secret of the person who filled the Tail slot for the injured Final Four Remscheid member Chris Schaefer was lifted soon after the scores and the video were posted. Dieter Kirsch, member of the German national lineups in 4-way and 8-way years ago, made himself available and helped out.
He attended his last World Meet in Australia 1999. "Daedalus" made it into the finals and finished in 7th place with a 15.5 average. The Final Four... (more)
