The night after yesterday's award ceremony was still a very lively one since all teams and competitors came back after the closing festivities downtown.

No jump-off was necessary, as Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge delivered the most perfect Round 10. It was a flawless performance and one of the best jumps in the history of the sport, if not the best one. Did you know that NSL-TV features Arizona Airspeed vs. Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge? posted: Aug 4th, 2010 Arizona Airspeed likes to come from behind, and they proved this point once again. The problem is now that the defending world champion is not behind any longer. It is an incredible race with the French challengers that sees both teams tied after 211 scoring formations.
Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge was only less than an inch away from the 25th point. However, Airspeed had the better jump, which was expected by the 4-way experts on the competition site.

Did you know that Mathieu Bernier has successfully completed the first step? posted: Aug 4th, 2010 The first step has been successfully completed by Mathieu Bernier, Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge Point in 4-way and in 8-way. He is the only competitor who is a medal contender in both events.
The NSL-TV camera captured live scenes in the landing area when Russia's 8-way team Barkli, the French 8-way and the Golden Knights came down from their final round. All reactions on both ends seemed to confirm that France would have won the meet.

Did you know that no 8-way team has won a round by three points in this meet so far? posted: Aug 4th, 2010 The 8-way teams have completed Round 9, and the 4-way teams and competitors are swarming the dropzone at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010.
Russia lost two points in Round 9, which was not new to Barkli. The team had lost eight points going into Round 9. It was the opposite situation for the Golden Knights who had not seen a point deduction before Round 8. The two lost points in Round 8 hurt even more after the next 2-point deficit in Round 9.

Did you know that Kazakhstan scored again in Round 8? posted: Aug 4th, 2010 The voters for the French 8-way team Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge have the upper hand again after Round 8. France is the underdog according to the poll results and the comments in the related forum. In reality, France is the 2-time defending world champion of 2006 and 2008.
