News Article Did you know that the NSL Championship at SkyQuest was like a Rhythm camp?
posted: Nov 25th, 2011 The NSL Championship 2011, traditionally the 4way part of SkyQuest Florida, was just as much bothered by the weather as BJ Worth's Kaleidoscope Dives. However, SkyQuest participants in both events made the best out of it, completed as many jumps as possible and enjoyed the exciting international atmosphere anyway. The 4way event turned out to be almost like an SDC Rhythm XP camp. The three remaining team members, JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz and Thiago Gomes, have transitioned to their winter headquarters in Sebastian and came to DeLand to support the event. Steve Lefkowitz was the player coach... (more)

posted: Nov 24th, 2011 The AAA/Open Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2011 included the female competition between three teams who tried to qualify as the US national team in this category for the 2012 season. It was difficult to predict whether the SDC Furies XP or the Supersonic pickup team would be able to give the Golden Knights female lineup a run for the money or not. The US Army team had posted a 15.3 average at the World Cup 2011. Not bad, but the Furies had also finished with a 15.5 average at the June meet of the Midwest Skydiving Lreague and then added a 15.8 average in September. In fact, the Furies... (more)

News Article Did you know that the Hawks caught up with the Owls on Sunday?
posted: Nov 21st, 2011 The weather was better on Sunday for the Kaleidoscope Divers and the 4way teams. However, it was still windy and cloudy at times, and it was very difficult for the event management to develop any momentum. All participants tried to make the best out of the situation. This meant for the bigways fans to be on alert all the time and for the 4way teams to get as many rounds completed as possible. Sunday was the travel day for many participants, and the day is usually shorter than the first three days. Both bigway groups, the Hawks and the Owls, still completed a few jumps on Sunday. HTH from... (more)
