Many of the news articles between 2000 and 2003 are still available in the archives, and the Sun Path Products NSL News has published some of them here and there in the past.

Did you know that Fly-In Machine 44 has finalized Belgian 8-way plans for 2017? posted: Dec 30th, 2016 The end of the 2016 season was also the end of the Thunder project, as the Sun Path Products NSL News reported in earlier updates. Thunder ISR remains in the 4-way records as the best unofficial amateur team in the history of the sport.
The four Thunder members (Wesley Claessens, Paul Hofstee, Sven Ibens, Jacco van Eerden, with Grim Swinnen on camera) were also the second half of the Thund8rbirds, the joint 8-way project with the complete NMP PCH HayaBusa lineup. The Thund8rbirds recently competed at the Weembi 8-way competition, which was the last meet for the 8-way team, as well.

Did you know that Eliana Rodriguez is the only Formation Skydiving competitor with three gold medals in three different events? posted: Dec 29th, 2016 Yesterday's update from the Golden Knights headquarters was not only interesting due to the recent personnel changes, which brought 4-way Women world champion Jennifer Davidson into the new 8-way lineup.
The Golden Knights have won the gold medals at FAI World Championships of Formation Skydiving three consecutive times (2012 - 2014 - 2016) and have finalized their plans how to add the next set of 8-way gold medals to the collection.

Did you know that Jennifer Davidson joins her husband Matt in the Golden Knights 8-way lineup? posted: Dec 28th, 2016 The Golden Knights are probably looking back at one of the most successful years in the history of Formation Skydiving competition in the U.S. Army. The famous "Decade of Excellence" (1987 - 1997) has been the greatest memory so far, when the Golden Knights won six consecutive 8-way gold medals for the U.S. Formation Skydiving delegations at world meets.
The 2016 season with the FAI Mondial was still even more special for the U.S. Army delegation. It was the first time that the Golden Knights won two sets of gold medals (8-way, 4-way Women) at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving.

Did you know that iFLY Orlando still has four days to catch iFLY SF Bay? posted: Dec 28th, 2016 The next Indoor Cloud League scores from California came from iFLY SF Bay, and they were no good news for the iFLY Orlando team.
The Sun Path Products NSL News reported the incredible race for the top of the 12+ leaderboard first time on December 4th, after all scores for November were posted. The December competition is now slowly coming to its end, and scores from both opponents are on the current leaderboard. If nothing changes in the last four days of the Indoor Cloud League 2016 season iFLY SF Bay will have turned the 1-point deficit at the end of November into a 26-point victory for the... (more)
Did you know that iFLY Sacramento followed up quickly on the latest iFLY Orlando ICL December scores? posted: Dec 27th, 2016 The iFLY Orlando team did not have to wait very long until the first scores from California followed the latest update of the Indoor Cloud League December competition.
However, the newest scores did not come from iFLY SF Bay, the 1-point opponent on the 12+ leaderboard. Lori Connor's iFLY Sacramento team submitted scores and videos for five of the six December sequences. She said that her team did not have a lineup for the AAA Class sequence this month.
iFLY Sacramento's NCSL team has not missed an opportunity to hold its monthly Tunnel Kicker on the 3rd Thursday of each month since May.... (more)
