News Article Did you know that DeLand Kickers and Rogue 4 had a 10-round rollercoaster meet at iFLY Orlando?
posted: Dec 19th, 2016 The NSL Championship weekend began on Friday at noon with the competition draw for the outdoor event at Skydive DeLand. Two teams (Simba, Bamaboys) then completed a few rounds on Friday afternoon to have an easier schedule on Saturday. The next part was the Random Ramble at iFLY Orlando, which turned out as a 10-round indoor competition in the late evening, with sequences that included only random formations. Two of the teams who completed the ten rounds in iFLY Orlando's 12-foot flying chamber (SDC ZEUS, Schindler's List) on Friday night were back at Skydive DeLand on Saturday morning, where... (more)
News Article Did you know that HF Chicks and HF Flying Circus have turned the AAA Class indoor tables at the Hurricane Factory?
posted: Dec 16th, 2016 The four Czech 4-way teams who competed at the ISR Grand Prix 2016 in November had little over a 2-week break after their trip to Roosendaal before they were back in action. In fact, HF Chicks, Bad Boys, HF Flying Circus and CZ Ladies all attended three indoor meets between October and December, and the 4-way junior teams were even busier. HF Junior Cubs and HF Junior Flies both competed at four meets in the same three months, and the youngest HF Junior Blue lineup also completed three meets. The HF Junior Cubs and Flies meet agenda included the trips to Flyspot Warsaw in Poland and Indoor... (more)
News Article Did you know that it was an exciting major event sprint to the 2016 finish line?
posted: Dec 15th, 2016 FAI Mondial. ESL Championship. FAI Indoor World Cup. USPA Nationals. What an exciting sprint of major events it was toward the end of the 2016 season in Formation Skydiving Competition. I love it - however, not everybody was so happy about the event scheduling, and I fully understand. I mentioned earlier that the ever increasing number of events has created a scheduling nightmare for teams and competitors. I was hoping that it would eventually sort itself somehow, since a well-organized structure is often caused by a previous chaos. It has not happened yet, but I am surely not alone any longer... News Article Did you know that Jeff Ronzevalle and Stéphane Mattoni added the Monaco Tunnel Team to the project lineups?
posted: Dec 14th, 2016 The former members of the French national 8-way teams between 1986 and 1992, who came back for the 4-way team from Monaco in 2007, have made the Sun Path Products NSL News headlines many times. The first story was posted on May 18th, 2007, which introduced the first lineup of the Monaco Parachute Team. The comeback actually happened even earlier, as the same lineup competed under Noene Mandelieu for France in 2006 and 2007. Original members Jeff Ronzevalle and Didier Boignon acquired support by the sovereign city-state of Monaco and their 4-way and 8-way lineups became Monaco's national teams. Monaco... (more)
News Article Did you know that Thunder ISR finishes the team career with the best indoor rankings in team history?
posted: Dec 13th, 2016 The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on November 26th that the Thunder ISR 4-way project comes to an end at the end of the 2016 season and posted the farewell message before the team's last competition, the ISR Grand Prix 2016. The story on November 28th followed up on the sad news and included the last competition rounds that Thunder performed at the indoor meet in Roosendaal. Thunder won the 8-round competition with the highest meet average in team history (29.3) and with exactly the same lineup (Wesley Claessens, Paul Hofstee, Sven Ibens, Jacco van Eerden) that had started the team... News Article Did you know that Weembi was much closer to NMP PCH HayaBusa at Flyspot than in Dubai?
posted: Dec 12th, 2016 It is very unusual for the Sun Path Products NSL News that there is NMP PCH HayaBusa footage available and not used. As for eight other national 4-way teams at the FAI Mondial, the 2016 season was not over for the old and new Belgian outdoor world champions. The FAI Indoor World Cup was still on the meet agenda, and the Sun Path Products NSL News brought the event and HayaBusa's participation to the attention of the audience on October 13th. The story covered the situation after Round 4 and the challenge by French team Weembi, with former HayaBusa member Roy Janssen in the lineup. The video... (more)
