posted: Dec 12th, 2017 This year's NSL Championship event offered a new format for the teams and competitors who did not have enough of 4-way competition at the end of the 2017 season. It was a combination of indoor and outdoor competition for the first time. News Article Did you know that the 4-way junior revolution started a decade ago?
posted: Dec 9th, 2017 No surprise that this issue, with the story of a "former-skydiver's 11-year-old kid now kicking ass in the tunnel has inspired me to go back to one of my favorite topics: 4-way juniors. I have been bringing up the wonderful addition to our sport for years, which came with the invention of the "vertical wind tunnel" for training purposes. Yes, that's how Bill Kitchen called SkyVenture Orlando when he built the first wind tunnel in 1998, the beginning of the indoor empire that former Airspeed member Alan Metni created after he bought SkyVenture Orlando from Bill. Kids were not even a thought... (more)

posted: Dec 8th, 2017 The Qatar Falcons 8-way team recently completed a winter training camp at Skydive City in Zephyrhills, Florida. It was a good opportunity for the NSL News for an 8-way update and to get additional information from coach Gary Smith. Qatar's 8-way coach has also been working with NMP PCH HayaBusa for several years. He started his indoor coaching work with the Belgians in 2011 and extended to outdoor training in 2012. He said that it has been very enjoyable work with the HayaBusa family and that he has become very close friends with the team members, as well. His work with the Qatar Falcons... (more)

News Article Did you know that the Shamrock Showdown 2018 features an early world class outdoor field?
posted: Dec 6th, 2017 It has happened only once in the history of the Shamrock Showdown that Arizona Airspeed was defeated, as the NSL News reported on 6 March 2017. It was the first Shamrock Showdown in 2002 when DeLand Majik won by three points over the reigning Airspeed Vertical 4-way world champions (John Eagle, Craig Girard, Neal Houston, Mark Kirkby, Marc Steinbaugh on camera). Airspeed needed five years to recover before the Airspeed Odyssey lineup (Eliana Rodriguez, Craig Girard, Andy Delk, Mark Kirkby, Will Pesek on camera) made the next trip from the U.S. west coast to the east and won the Shamrock Showdown...
