News Article Did you know that Black Cat tied Airspeed's 59-pointer with a very similar sequence at the Russian Indoor Nationals?
posted: Dec 19th, 2017 The Freezone wind tunnel in Moscow hosted the first Russian Indoor Nationals earlier this month. The 16-foot flying chamber allowed the AAA Class teams to perform the whole dive pool, and the 10-round draw included the two blocks (1,13) that are not a part of FAI/IPC championship events. FAI/IPC indoor meets have been hosted only by wind tunnels with 14-foot flying chambers so far. Black Cat completed the 10-round FAI/IPC draw at the Indoor World Meet 2017 just two months ago and had missed the bronze medals by one single point after the jump-off round against Arizona Airspeed. posted: Dec 18th, 2017 The Brazilian 4-way team Harpia joined the 12+ competition of the Indoor Cloud League in July this year. The NSL News introduced the team with the ICL update on July 17th. Adriana Garcia (Point), Augusto Rosa (Tail), Humberto do Prado (Outside Center) and Ricardo Pettená (Inside Center) performed the first sequence in July at the 12-foot flying chamber of iFLY Sao Paulo and started at the bottom of the 12+ leaderboard. posted: Dec 16th, 2017 Amer Kassas, founder of the ZEUS 4-way project at Skydive City in Zephrhills, Florida, has been helping to organize and manage activities of the Florida Skydiving League for a while. He had a special treat for the regular participants this month. He found out that Arizona Airspeed's new point and 2017 USPA 4-way champion, Ari Perelman, was planning to visit Florida in December where he used to live, work and skydive for many years. News Article Did you know that six events generated the ten highest meet averages in 4-way history?
posted: Dec 15th, 2017 The NSL News recently mentioned in a preview of the Shamrock Showdown 2018 that Arizona Airspeed still owns the highest outdoor average in history, which was posted at the FAI Mondial 2012 in Dubai. NMP PCH HayaBusa finished only one single point behind the historic 27.9 average, which has been lasting over five years by now. The NSL News took a closer look at the other highest 4-way meet averages in history and created a Top 10 list that included only 10-round meets. posted: Dec 14th, 2017 The Czech teams opened up once again the new leaderboard for the ten rounds of the World Tunnel League's December competition. It was the second meet of the Czech indoor winter season at the Hurricane Factory, and it offered some interesting developments. HF Flying Circus has been chasing the HF Chicks ever since they entered the AAA Class competition in November 2016. The Czech national indoor team in 4-way Women has competed in the AAA Class since September 2014. News Article Did you know that the Indoor Cloud League 2017 season will once again set new records?
posted: Dec 12th, 2017 The last November scores and videos of the Indoor Cloud League were added to the 14+ leaderboard by the iFLY Dallas team. Four different lineups combined for the total of 91 points, and two of them each took care of two neighboring sequences. Rob Parker and Aaron Perkins performed two of the Rookie Class sequences (R - RR) with player coaches Lucas King and Kyle Hermberg, and the 23-pointer for the R Class sequence turned out to be the highscore for the month of November.
