Did you know that the World Tunnel League November leaderboard is growing? posted: Nov 29th, 2017 The World Tunnel League is showing more international colors. Teams from four different countries posted scores on the November leaderboard.
The Czech teams launched the November competition, with guests from Slovakia (Skydive University) and Hungary (Aladeen), and U.S. teams from Northern California have now added the scores of their 6-round meets.
Nothing changed on the AAA Class leaderboard, where the Bad Boys maintained their top spot. Three of the Czech teams (HF Bad Boys - HF Chicks - HF Cubs) had also competed at the FAI Indoor World Meet 2017 in October, and the two female lineups... (more)
Did you know that ISR FireFlash has new 4-way plans for the 2018 season? posted: Nov 28th, 2017 The latest scores on the NSL leaderboard came from the Netherlands, where Indoor Skydive Roosendaal held its annual Grand Prix 8-round competition. The event featured the AAA Class winner ISR FireFlash, which might be the most improved 4-way team of the year.
The NSL News had introduced FireFlash with the story on 12 January 2017 and followed up with the team's progression throughout the six 4-way events that FireFlash has attended ever since. The FireFlash members were also NMP PCH HayaBusa's 8-way partners and competed at three meets with the Fly-In Machine 44.

Did you know that Satori XL and Echochamber could have their tie-breaker in Australia 2018? posted: Nov 28th, 2017 It does not happen very often that teams are tied with their total number of points at the end of a 10-round competition.
Extra rounds are meant to break the ties, and additional tie-breaking rules cover the situation when the teams cannot resolve their battles after extra rounds.
Tie-breaking procedures are usually only used when teams are in medal positions, which adds to the drama of extra rounds, as the competition then turns into a duel between two teams, with the very rare exception of more than two teams performing an extra round.

Did you know that the Qatar Tigers posted a new team record score from a Pilatus Porter? posted: Nov 27th, 2017 One of the most recent 4-way competitions was a part of the 18th Asiania International Parachuting Championships 2017, which took place in China this year.
The FAI affiliated Asiania Parachute Federation is hosting the event annually for countries in the Asian and Australasian areas.
Six 4-way teams competed in China last week, and the scheduled 10-round meet was concluded after Round 8.
One of the six teams is well known in the international Formation Skydiving community, and the world class team from Qatar, the Tigers, had no problem at all to win the gold medals, with China's national... (more)
Did you know that iFLY Seattle's Indoor Cloud League November team included two new 4-way competitors? posted: Nov 26th, 2017 The October update of the Indoor Cloud League from iFLY Seattle included a review of the AA/Advanced Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2017, where Seattle Swift ended up one point short of the bronze medal position.
Seattle Swift members Djordje Mandaric and Dmitry Rudchenko then still posted scores as player coaches with Indoor Cloud League lineups in October and were now back again at iFly Seattle for the November sequences.
Djordje Mandaric guided the AAA/AA lineup (Randy Barbee, Jerome Jeal, Jeramy Eggum) to the scores for the two Open Class sequences, and he helped Randy Barbee... (more)
Did you know that Polish 4-way competition seems to be on the Czech path? posted: Nov 25th, 2017 The NSL News published an update on 19 November 2017 that covered this year's 4th Flyspot Open Championship in Poland and the ongoing domestic battle for the AAA Class top spot between No Mercy and Sky4four. The scores of this event are history by now, and the same two teams were back in action just a week later.
In fact, almost all of the teams that competed again on Friday had also attended the Flyspot Open 2017. Two of the three visiting teams from the Czech Republic (Skycentrum, HF Cubs) then traveled to Roosendaal in the Netherlands a week later to attend the ISR Grand Prox 2017 yesterday,... (more)
