Did you know that DeLand Fire seems to be ready for the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2005? posted: Mar 14th, 2005 The NSL News had introduced the new DeLand team "Fire" with a news story on December 22, 2004, which can still be found in the NSL 2004 Archives. The DeLand Fire story received a lot of attention and initiated several comments and a discussion in the NSL Forum . In fact, this topic was the most visited one in 2004.
The NSL News followed up later in December with two stories that covered the status of team videographer and alternate Thomas Hughes (December 24 and 31, 2004). The NSL News had also plans by then to follow up with more DeLand Fire team information. (more)
Did you know that the Colorado Skydiving League's Rookies/Scrambles event is up for tomorrow? posted: Mar 11th, 2005 The NSL News story of February 26 announced the comeback of the Colorado Skydiving League, directed by Arizona Directe 4-way competitor Brian Vande Krol. The first event of the CSL 2005 season is scheduled for the upcoming weekend.
The original date was this Sunday. Unfortunately, the regional weather forecast seems to have trouble on the horizon for the Colorado skydivers. League Director Brian Vande Krol tries to make the best out of the situation. He announced today that Saturday will be the main event day.

Did you know that Round 3 of the SSL Valentine's Meet is now running on NSL-TV? posted: Mar 10th, 2005 The NSL-TV has to pick up the pace of uploading new rounds of the first 2005 competition in Eloy. Only one week is left until brandnew footage will be available. The FSL Shamrock Showdown 2005 will keep the NSL-TV studio and the valued audience busy for a while. Goal is to complete the coverage of the Valentine's Meet before the Shamrock begins. (more)
Did you know that the NSL News eye witnessed a Fastrax training day? posted: Mar 9th, 2005 The NSL News introduced Team Fastrax in detail with the story on January 22, 2005 (Team Fastrax trains outside the box). The information for the story was collected at a meeting with the team at SkyVenture Orlando. The original NSL News plan was a visit at the Florida Skydiving Center the same day to observe a Fastrax training day. The inclement weather situation did not allow any jumping that day, and NSL News and the Fastrax members met in Orlando.

Did you know that the local media invites the public to the Shamrock Showdown? posted: Mar 8th, 2005 The local media has always shown a lot of interest in the FSL Shamrock Showdown. Local Newspapers and TV news stations have covered the event year by year. Result was usually a large crowd of spectators visiting on the event days. The pre-coverage and announcement of the event have already begun. Additional stories for the local readers are in the works. (more)
Did you know that five teams show three different techniques for the new Block 12? posted: Mar 7th, 2005 The new round of NSL-TV has already been available throughout the past weekend and will remain on the NSL-TV page for another few days. It features round two of the SSL Valentine's Meet 2005. The most interesting part of this current show is probably the fact that the sequence of round two includes the new Block 12 (Bundy - Bundy). By Omniskore coincidence, the exit formation of the same round happened to be the new Random Formation M, the Star.
