posted: Aug 17th, 2023 Round 1 of the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 in Voss, Norway, is less than a week away. One of the most recent NSL Live Talk conversations was recorded on July 26th when Qatar coach Gary Smith was available to discuss the situation before the most relevant international Formation Skydiving competition of the year. One of the conclusions after the conversation were a few adjustments on the NSL Power Rankings leaderboards. News Article Did you know that the next 4-way junior has transitioned to outdoor action?
posted: Aug 16th, 2023 The recent visit of the NSL News in the Czech Republic had the purpose of introducing the former 4-way juniors of Jan Klapka's 4-way school at the Hurricane Factory windtunnel in Prague, who have successfully transitioned to outdoor training and competition. The Skywalkers Junior combination of former HF Flying Rebels (Michal Mikulisek, Martin Stransky) and HF Chameleon (Filip Lukavec, Antonin Ondracek) members were in training for the national outdoor championship at the skydiving center in Most. News Article Did you know that the Texas teams finished with new record numbers at the Dallas Super Cup?
posted: Aug 15th, 2023 Three of the four Texas teams who competed at the Spaceland Pre-Nationals 2023, followed up with the next opportunity that the Texas Skydiving League offered to get well prepared for the USPA Nationals in September, the Dallas Super Cup 2023. Meet director Kyle Hermberg, who also manages the Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Dallas, informed the NSL News that three additional RRR Class teams completed the six rounds at Skydive Spaceland's Dallas location. News Article Did you know that the next double-gold attempt in 2001 was even closer?
posted: Aug 14th, 2023 The unique double-gold feature in horizontal Formation Skydiving competition became only as well known as it is by now after the first person in history accomplished it, current French national coach Mathieu Bernier in Menzelinsk 2010. The NSL News then began the exploration of more history with the same topic and went as far back as to the FAI World Championship 1987, where the Golden Knights won 8-way gold and 4-way silver. posted: Aug 12th, 2023 The start of the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 is coming closer, with Round 1 scheduled for August 23rd, little over a week away. Teams and competitors, host, judges and staff are in the final preparations and even begin to move closer to the competition site in Voss, Norway. The NSL News used the run-up time after the transition to Europe for another visit in the Czech Republic, where the most successful 4-way junior operation is home at the Hurricane Factory in Prague. News Article Did you know that the FAI World Cup in Norway is also a 4-way preview of the USPA Nationals?
posted: Aug 10th, 2023 The NSL News reported a new lineup for Skydive Midwest NEXT on 17 November 2022. Returning NEXT members Greg Oldendick and Gorka Amian had recruited Katie Healy and Brian Nasset for the team's near future. They replaced NEXT founder Megan George and Lauren Byrd who had spent three years together (2020 - 2022) with the team. Outside Center Greg Oldendick is now the senior NEXT member in his 4th year with the Skydive Midwest team. Tail Gorka Amian joined the team in 2021 and completes his 3rd year at the USPA Nationals 2023. The new lineup has not competed yet at an outdoor event. However,... (more)
