News Article Did you know that judge Rogier Carper created a historic competition draw in Voss?
posted: Aug 21st, 2023 The official training day began late, and it did not generate the best live training opportunities for the judges. There were not too many scores for the two suggested sequences on the leaderboards that are now presented on a large screen in the middle of the dropzone at Skydive Voss. Teams were still jumping in the afternoon making their own choices for the preferred sequences until it was time for the competition draw at 8 pm in the evening. News Article Did you know that there is hope that the Fun Flag may fly in Voss?
posted: Aug 21st, 2023 The official training day of the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 is eventually in full swing. Once again, the daily rain showers had to be waited out before the teams could take off in all jump planes available at Skydive Voss. It's the day when the judges are warming up for their job. They have selected two sequences that they are testing the technology with, and that they use to become familiar with the videos and the backdrop they can expect to see during the competition. News Article Did you know that it was a very busy training day in Voss?
posted: Aug 20th, 2023 The NSL News has successfully transitioned to Skydive Voss in Norway and is set up for the live coverage of the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023. As usual, the coverage begins with the sightseeing tour of the location where the teams compete for FAI medals. Skydive Voss was a very busy place on Sunday, There is only one more training day left for the teams to become familiar with the logistics, jump planes and surroundings. Monday is the official training day, and the competition draw will be done in the evening. Round 1 is scheduled for Tuesday morning. An opening ceremony will follow at the end... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Czech Republic has new and very young national 4-way champions?
posted: Aug 20th, 2023 As it could be expected, the Czech Republic has a new national 4-way champion and national team, the Skywalkers Junior. The NSL News visited their home dropzone in Most earlier this month, and the update on August 12th included NSL Live Talk with the complete lineup. The competition was not over after Round 6, however, Skywalkers Junior had created a 49-point lead at that point in time, and the remaining four rounds have only statistical value. posted: Aug 18th, 2023 The last adjustment of the NSL Power Rankings preview leaderboards for the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 came after a new NSL Live Talk conversation with former NMP PCH HayaBusa member Sven Ibens on Friday morning, the transition day of the NSL News on the way to Voss in Norway. The previous conversation with Sven Ibens was recorded on January 3rd this year. News Article Did you know that four Dutch 4-way Open Class teams match the size of the U.S. delegation?
posted: Aug 17th, 2023 Round 1 of the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2023 in Voss, Norway, is less than a week away. One of the most recent NSL Live Talk conversations was recorded on July 26th when Qatar coach Gary Smith was available to discuss the situation before the most relevant international Formation Skydiving competition of the year. One of the conclusions after the conversation were a few adjustments on the NSL Power Rankings leaderboards.
