posted: Nov 7th, 2023 Eric Daniel and Emily Bombardi launched the Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Colorado Springs in May 2022 and posted scores and videos for six months last year. They were back with their Air Force 4-way teams and other participants after a 2-month winter break in November and December and posted new scores and videos for the early winter months of 2023. Several of the participating teams and competitors used the summer months to get ready for the USPA Nationals 2023, and they brought back USPA medals in 4-way Advanced and 8-way Intermediate to Colorado. The iFLY Colorado Springs team then resumed... (more)
News Article Did you know that the William H. Ottley 4-way Sword had only four plates in 1983?

In fact, the video footage was not provided by the FAI/ISC authority. The judging and scoring was done in a very different way at that time, and some of the teams had their own unofficial team videographer whose footage could be used only for training purposes. Formation Skydiving competition was in the middle of the transition from live judging... (more)

It was in the summer time of the Czech Republic, and Jan Klapka had only 4-way juniors available, while the senior competitors spent their time mostly with outdoor activities. Only the former juniors of the Skywalkers participated in both environments. Most of the ICL competitors at iFLY Dallas were busy with their own outdoor preparations for the USPA Nationals 2023, as well. In fact, the situation in August was even closer to the national outdoor championship in the... (more)

posted: Nov 4th, 2023 The first NSL News update from the Italian Indoor Nationals on October 30th credited Fire Phoenix as the most improved team on the Italian AAA Class leaderboard. The story included the scoring progression of Italy's indoor national team in 4-way Women on their way to the indoor bronze medal position. Fire Phoenix have attended six 4-way meets in the past 12 months, and the competition experiences were helpful when the team had to battle throughout the whole ten rounds with Bandits Revolution to finish in 3rd place. Eventually, there was a 2-point difference between 3rd and 4th place. Their... (more)
News Article Did you know that the next NSL Live Talk with NMP PCH HayaBusa was Storytelling?
posted: Nov 3rd, 2023 The opportunity of meeting the best teams in the world of Formation Skydiving competition does not come up very often. The major FAI/ISC events, world championships and world cups, brings them usually together to the same place at the same time. Other than that, fans and journalists can find them only at their training sites. There are a few other events that may attract them to travel there, as well, while that is mostly coincidental, even though the top teams are looking for challenging meet opportunities for themselves and sometimes even coordinate their competition schedules with other top...
