The Paraclete XP home team won, with Andy Honigbaum, Kirk Verner, John and Tim D'Annunzio in the lineup.
There was no 8-way indoor competition in the world at that time, even though the windtunnel in Bedford had enough space with its 16-foot flying chamber. The annual World Challenge was only a 4-way competition, until Paul Mayer added 8-way to the event agenda in 2018.
