Did you know that the CASL scores come together with Round 5 and 6 videos of the World Cup? posted: Aug 29th, 2011 Several World Cup 2011 competitors were again in action on the August 20/21 weekend. This time, they were US competitors, and they were all Golden Knights competing at the second meet of the Carolina Skydiving League 2011 at Triangle Skydiving.
It was the Golden Knights Black team that battled with the female 4way lineup of the US Army. The Black team had competed only in 8way at the World Cup, while the Golden Knights ladies are 4way experts. However, the Black team came back from Germany with great confidence and brandnew 8way gold medals. They were ready to enjoy a fun 4way competition.

Did you know that Teams from Finland had a strong showing on the August 20/21 weekend? posted: Aug 29th, 2011 The leaderboard of the August 20/21 weekend was just recently completed when the scores from the Carolina Skydiving League were added. It was an international meet weekend with teams from three different countries.
For the German teams it was the last test before the upcoming national championships this week. Finland had already completed the 2011 nationals, and there is still plenty of time before the US teams will compete for national honors in October.

Did you know that four new records were set at the largest Irish Nationals in history? posted: Aug 28th, 2011 British skydiver Gordon Hodgkinson, who’s resident in Ireland, offers a unique perspective of the two countries National championships which took place just one week apart. At the largest ever UK Nationals (with 55 4-way teams), his team Satori Red clinched a silver medal in AA. 5 days later he was back in the Emerald Isle, competing at the largest ever Irish Nationals.

Did you know that the Italian Nationals are a success before the AAA Class competition begins? posted: Aug 26th, 2011 The World Cup videos of Round 4 in the 4way Open Class are now available for reviews. They include Ex3mo's Round 4, while the Italian team is getting ready for Round 1 of the Italian Nationals 2011.
Another Italian team that attended the World Cup will compete in the AAA Class competition in Fano this weekend. Evolution's duel with the German team NEVA was featured by the NSL News on 22 August 2011.
Ex3mo is probably Italy's top contender this year, and Evolution will try to get close to the medal rankings. Sinapsi won the national championships in 2009 and 2010 but has not registered for... (more)
Did you know that iFLY Orlando regularly supports the FSL 4way community? posted: Aug 26th, 2011 The Florida Skydiving League community has been treated to a very generous sponsorship this year. iFLY Orlando agreed to help the Florida Skydiving League with a promotional recruiting campaign. The "FSL Tunnel Kicker" has taken place two times so far and will continue for the remainder of the year.
The FSL management has invited potential FSL teams and competitors to visit iFLY Orlando once per month on a weekday evening and learn more about Formation Skydiving skills and 4way competition. Did you know that there was a serious slot scramble last weekend at Cross Keys? posted: Aug 25th, 2011 Last weekend's leaderboard is not complete yet, as scores from the Carolina Skydiving League are still missing. Two teams from Finland are still on top in both categories after scores from Germany, Finland and Cross Keys have been posted.
In the meantime, Ireland had the natonal championships, and teams in Italy are in full swing, as well. The NSL News will follow up on those events very soon.
