posted: Sep 1st, 2011 The NSL News story on 30 August 2011 provided a preview of the German Nationals 2011 where World Cup bronze medalist in 4way, Paratec-Saar, has to defend the national title. The article introduced the top contenders and explained that the German national team would be challenged due to a missing team member. Substitute Petra van Overveld, borrowed for a meet from ISB Air, is doing a fantastic job filling in at the Point slot in 4way, as well as the open slot in 8way. posted: Sep 1st, 2011 The NSL News reported the French 8way reunion at this year's national championship with yesterday's story. Another comeback is happening this weekend in Georgia. Mr. Pink has scheduled a jumping weekend at Skydive The Farm. It is not the first comeback of one of the longest standing teams in the country, probably in the world. The NSL News reported the Pink situation last time on 23 October 2007. The story related to the comeback after a Pink 4-year hibernation. News Article Did you know that French 8way champions of the late 80s and early 90s reunited and won?
posted: Aug 31st, 2011 The NSL News covered the French Nationals 2011 with the story on 12 August 2011. The two French national B-Teams took the first two places, Rebootizer Monaco won the bronze medals after two first places at the previous Coupe de France meets in 2011 and after a battle with the Air Force team from Nice. Rebootizer Monaco is the 4way team that has been representing the generation of French top competitors in the 80s and 90s. posted: Aug 31st, 2011 Four teams returned to Chicagoland Skydiving’s new location in Rochelle, Illinois, this past Saturday for the 3rd meet of the Midwest Skydiving League 2011. As with the last meet, MWSL Director Alan Butt could report terrific weather, a rarity this Midwest summer, especially on weekends. "The teams were again concentrated in just two classes: AA and A. The Angry Birds, who won in their category at the first two meets, were joined by SDC Jetstream Tango and SDC Flying Fish. It was a very close meet, somewhat influenced by video busts. posted: Aug 30th, 2011 The UK Nationals 2011 left a lasting impression on many participants and observers. It was a new record breaking event, and the aftermath is not over yet, as a lot of feedback and stories are still waiting to be published. Kate Charters, Chief Judge of the 4way competition at Hibaldstow and Judges Co-ordinator for the British Parachute Association (BPA), provided a meet report from her perspective. The German teams compete for national honors in Kassel-Calden, and the competition begins tomorrow morning.
