News Article Did you know that Denmark finished the 2011 competition season with the bluest skies ever?
posted: Sep 25th, 2011 The Danish Skydiving Federation (DFU) completed the annual DFU Cup this weekend. It is a 4way competition where experienced skydivers jump together as player coaches with newcomers. Four lineups were formed this time and used the A Class dive pool and competition draw. They were fortunate enough to be rewarded with what NSL correspondent Kjetil Nordin of Perris Blitz called the "possibly bluest skies Denmark has ever seen". News Article Did you know that Thunder has World Challenge, Shamrock Showdown and Tomscat on the 2012 schedule?
posted: Sep 24th, 2011 The NSL News reported on 15 September 2011 that the Belgian/Dutch lineup of Thunder might be in a position to challenge the German team Paratec-Saar for the unofficial title of the best "amateur team" in the world. Thunder followed up with scores at the ESL Championship 2011 the following weekend, which confirmed that both teams are really very close to each other. News Article Did you know that two more MASL Rookie Class lineups had a real meet experience at Cross Keys?
posted: Sep 23rd, 2011 Participants for three Rookie Class lineups came already out to play at the second 4way Scrambles of the MidAtlantic Skydiving League at Cross Keys on the first September weekend, as the NSL News reported on 7 September 2011. However, MASL Director Dennis Miller managed to attract several other new 4way players to the next MASL event only two weeks later. He said that most of the usual 4way fans at his meets had other engagements last weekend, but he saw several new faces who came out and participated: "We had two Rookie Class teams with five new players, almost all of whom had well under 100... News Article Did you know that Mr. Pink had a successful reunion at Skydive The Farm?
posted: Sep 22nd, 2011 The NSL News reported on 1 September 2011 that 4way team Mr. Pink from Georgia would have a reunion event on the first September weekend. Mr. Pink was actually planning to sign up for the September meet of the Georgia Skydiving League on that weekend. The meet was re-scheduled, but Mr. Pink's reunion took place at Skydive The Farm as planned. Two other lineups joined the Mr. Pink reunion for some 4way fun with guidance by the Pink members, especially Mr. Purple (Glen Hauenstein) and Kid Pink (Jennifer Hauenstein). News Article Did you know that the Whooops scores reflect on potential Thunder results at the World Cup?
posted: Sep 21st, 2011 The ESL Championship 2011 welcomed more teams from different European nations than ever before. Especially the Rookie Class competition was most colorful with four teams from four different nations (Czech Republic, Greece, United Kingdom and Netherlands). The whole field of 15 teams included only one team that had competed at the World Cup 2011 a few weeks earlier. Whooops from the Netherlands was the Dutch national team in Germany. News Article Did you know that Russia's Illusions posted new national highscores?
posted: Sep 20th, 2011 The NSL News goes back to the World Cup 2011 and the Russian Nationals 2011 where several Teams from Russia attended both events. The NSL News brought the impressive performance of Sky Panthers Barkli to the attention of the audience earlier. The Black Cat lineup at the national championship also delivered the best performance of the 2011 season, as well as Gradient Alpha. SportLoto averaged two points higher than at the outdoor season opener at the end of April and was probably still further behind the top of the leaderboard than expected.
