Did you know that Airspeed's Sunday training started with a big boom? posted: Oct 30th, 2011 It's the day before the 4way competition will begin at the USPA Nationals 2011. The NSL-TV camera followed Arizona Airspeed on one of the few training jumps that the top contender did on Sunday afternoon.
The Airspeed coverage started with a big boom, literally. The team members were discussing the training activities when a deafening explosion interrupted the conversation, and debris was flying around outside of the team room. Did you know that three former USPA Advanced Class champions compete in the Open Class this year? posted: Oct 29th, 2011 Skydive Arizona was a very busy place on Saturday. It would not be a big surprise if the participation at the USPA Nationals 2011 gets close to previous record numbers. The number of teams in VFS 4way may indicate what to expect in 4way and 8way, as there were two more teams than last year. 53 teams competed in USPA's three categories in 2010, and 19 teams followed up in 8way.

Did you know that not much will be the same at this year's USPA Nationals? posted: Oct 29th, 2011 The NSL News has now moved to Eloy, Arizona, where the live coverage of the USPA Nationals 2011 will begin later today after setting up the work station at Skydive Arizona. There are several visiting international teams that the NSL News will introduce soon.
The latest poll results are showing a different picture, as the three top contenders for the silver medal position (Paraclete XP4, Perris Fury, Golden Knights) have moved closer to each other. Did you know that Part 3 of the slow sequences features high scores in 2011? posted: Oct 28th, 2011 The NSL News is transitioning to Arizona today where the USPA Nationals 2011 begin this weekend. There is just enough time to finish up the recent special NSL-TV feature of the slowest sequences with the lowest scores of the best 4way teams in the world. Then it will be time for the next competition draw, which might even bring a few new 3-block sequences to the attention of the NSL News audience.
