Did You Know...

... that Gold and Red lineups compete with 4way world champions for Dubai?

Skydive Dubai Gold lineup
posted Oct 30th, 2011 - Arizona Airspeed's performance at the USPA Nationals 2011 is naturally one of the main topics. However, there is a lot of other information, an incredible amount of content and footage, that deserves attention and makes for many more stories. The NSL News will do its best to cover as much as possible.

The trip across the dropzone on Sunday afternoon had a few other stops, and two of them still went back to the Airspeed agenda. It had nothing to do with the current lineup and its pursuit of the top position in the world. Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard have already been there, last time in in 2008, and are now working on bringing two teams from Dubai to the same position.

The NSL News mentioned earlier that both are now player coaches for two lineups from Skydive Dubai, their new home for work and life since the beginning od 2011. Dubai Gold and Red are competing at the USPA Nationals this week, Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard introduced their lineups to the NSL News audience.

Skydive Dubai Red lineup
The Dubai Red lineup with Craig Girard is the more experienced team. Eliana Rodriguez has a quite amazing lineup. The Gold team members made their first jumps within the last 12 months. In fact, one of the team members made his first tandem jump in May 2011. Five months later he now competes at the USPA Nationals, and the team is expected to score on the 12- to 13-average level in the AAA/Advanced Class competition. All four teams from Qatar and Dubai have registered for the Advanced Class competition.

The new video clip also shows Katie Woods, Ari Perelman, Ian Bobo and Kyle Collins in creeping action. PD Blue has a different kind of reunion at the USPA Nationals 2011, as Shannon Pilcher competes with Performance Desired. Both teams might be quite close to each other on the leaderboard. That is if Dan BC can make it to Eloy in time. He was still caught up in Perris at the time of the competition draw.

Last not least, the NSL-TV camera also found a quiet place on the dropzone where Gilles Dutrisac, former Sebastian Tempest member, hangs out with teams and competitors from the Mideast Skydiving League and Start Skydiving. The competition draw has now been posted, and more information will follow later.
