News Article Did you know that the NSL News wishes Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and says Thank You?
posted: Dec 24th, 2010 It is Christmas Evening in the USA, and today's NSL News story does not offer any breaking news or information. The NSL News work on this day actually turned into a time for reflection and eventually appreciation. I walked into the office later this morning after a few days of vacation in the Sweetwater Springs wilderness of the Ocala Forest, one of my favorite spots on the planet, and was ready to begin with the daily update of the Skyleague.com website before heading home and celebrate with the family. There is never a lack of interesting information for NSL News stories, thanks to the... (more)
News Article Did you know that it was the road to the gold that mattered the most?
posted: Dec 23rd, 2010 The last installment of Jerome David's NSL Profile covers recent history of Formation Skydiving competiton. The last four years, 2007 - 2010, were probably the most exciting part of his coaching career. The World Meet 2008 was hosted by France in Maubeuge, and the French delegation had all advantages on its side. The home turf alone was not even the biggest advantage. The IPC had agreed to Pilatus Porters for the jump planes, and the right-hand door is very unusual these days and caused a lot of trouble for most of the visiting teams. Maybe the unusual hurricanes in Maubeuge, right before... (more)
News Article Did you know that UK team SonicNutz picks up the speed for the 2011 season?
posted: Dec 22nd, 2010 The top 4-way competition in the United Kingdom has been under the control of the female lineups and Satori in the past years. This may change in the near future, as a not so new team now comes into the UK picture. SonicNutz plans to be in serious contention in 2011. Helen Arnold (Point), Darren Atter (Center Outside), Simon Cathrine (Center Inside), Dave Honeybone (Tail) and Rob Frost (Camera) came together for the 2010 season and continue next year. Simon Cathrine replaced Jason Kierman in 2010, while Helen Arnold, Darren Atter and Dave Honeybone have trained and competed for SonicNutz since... (more)

posted: Dec 20th, 2010 The NSL News provided a few previews of the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championships 2011 with several earlier stories. Paraclete XP4 member John D'Annunzio now provided new information, which included the first overview of the teams that will compete in Raeford in February. John D'Annunzio sounded very excited when he mentioned the 8-way part of the competition. He said that seven teams have already registered for the meet. The field of 8-way teams includes his own Paraclete XP8 lineup, the Golden Knights and Roguish Fury, a combination of Perris Fury, Dallas Rogue and a few other high-profile... (more)
News Article Did you know that the NSL News begins with updates of the NSL Profiles?
posted: Dec 19th, 2010 The NSL Profile of the former French national competitor, national coach and national manager, Jerome David, is a long and colorful one. It is almost a complete story of top competition in Formation Skydiving history since 1986. It is still far from complete, as many of the other profiles need updates, as well. There is a good reason why the NSL News begins the series of updates with the Frenchman who just retired from his job as the national manager of Formation Skydiving after being promoted to a new job in the French skydiving federation. Jerome David guided the French FS teams to the... (more)
