News Article Did you know that the first 2012 scores are coming from the Czech Republic?
posted: Jan 7th, 2012 The first scores of the 2012 season are posted, and they came in from the Czech Republic. Jan Klapka hosted the 3rd indoor competition of his winter series at the Sportflight Skydive Arena on the 4th of January. He had proudly reported after the 2nd indoor competition in December that all his Czech Rookie Class teams posted meet averages above the 10.0 benchmark. He must be happy again since the scores were even higher at the January 2012 competition. The Czech Rookie Class teams also have a good winter competition going between themselves. posted: Jan 6th, 2012 The turn of the year always brings the task of adding a new database to the NSL website and moving the content of 2011 into the archives. Yes, all the content, with scores and stories and photos, ever since the NSL website was created in its current format, is still available for reviews. All it takes to go back in time is a click on the number of the year in the "Archives" on the very bottom of the menu. 2011 has become history, and the new 2012 database begins to fill with new information. News Article Did you know that the Oldspeed lineup included three generations of US 4way world champions?
posted: Jan 5th, 2012 More videos of the USPA Nationals 2011 bring another eye candy to the audience. This time, the NSL News features an internal 4way Open Class battle for the 8th place. One team consists of four former world champions, the other team has current weekend competitors in the lineup, including two standing amateur average record holders, Mass Defiance members Ben Liston and Brian Stephens. posted: Jan 4th, 2012 It's that time of the year again when the NSL News has to make the transition from one database to another, and it seems like it has happened successfully and without too much pain. It is also that time of the month when the Blue Skies Mag publishes the new issue, and the NSL News has contributed once again to the January 2012 publication. News Article Did you know that Golden Knights and Sky Panthers Barkli meet for an 8way Showdown at the Shamrock 2012?
posted: Jan 3rd, 2012 Great news came from Russia and from North Carolina this morning. Sky Panthers Barkli 8way team captain Oleg Shalamykhin confirmed that his team plans to attend the Shamrock Showdown 2012 and compete in 8way with the Golden Knights. Brian "BK" Krause confirmed the special 8way showdown on his end, which made it a deal. Only the French 8way team is missing to make it a real world meet situation. French national manager Jeremie Rollett is in the same situation as in 2010 when the French delegation won all three sets of gold medals at the World Meet in Menzlinsk. News Article Did you know that personnel changes shake up the German 4way world?
posted: Jan 2nd, 2012 The new year brings a personnel change on the top level of Formation Skydiving competition in Germany. The national 4way teams, Paratec-Saar and ISB Air Remscheid, continue with the same lineups as in 2011, but the German 8way team EADS will have a new team member, which also changes the lineup of the second half of the 8way team. This personnel change has an impact that reaches further into the German 4way competition community since the new EADS and Dynamite member has been the Center Inside of Final Four, this year's silver medalist at the national championships.
