posted: Mar 18th, 2012 The NSL News has mentioned the potential for a few new unofficial 8way world records several times. Round 9 of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 deserved special attention. The NSL Reality TV camera followed Golden Knights and Sky Panthers Barkli all the way from the final preparations for Round 9 to the landings and the live judging in the viewing area. Both teams were very much aware of the situation, and so was judge Eric Heinsheimer who walked the Golden Knights out to the boarding area. posted: Mar 18th, 2012 Sunday is the second day for the 8way competition at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012. The Golden Knights are chasing the Golden Knights world records of 1997, and judge Eric Heinsheimer is watching it carefully. The US Army team had a great start into the day and may have the momentum going for them. The NSL News will cover especially Round 9 extensively later. Thunder is also catching up in 4way. Thomas Hughes is filling the open slot for the international lineup that made the long trip from Europe to compete in DeLand. Thunder cannot win any cash in the Shamrock Showdown Skins... (more)

Did you know that France increases the distance to Norway and USA in the female 4way competition?
posted: Mar 17th, 2012 It's time for the first meet videos of the female 4way competition at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012. The NSL News mentioned earlier that the Norwegian team Polaris surprised the Golden Knights with a very strong performance, especially on the first day of the competition. Polaris was up by four points after Round 5 at the end of Friday's rounds. It even continued on Saturday morning before the Golden Knights began to catch up and won Rounds 7, 8 and 9. posted: Mar 17th, 2012 What a battle it is in the 4way Open Class competition of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012. It is different compared to other outdoor meets of the past though. The battle takes mainly place between two different teams: Arizona Airspeed and NMP-PCH Hayabusa. Aerodyne Aerokart, with three reigning 4way world champions plus one reigning 8way world champion, does not show yet what the team has done in the past. The lack of training before the meet shows its results, as Airspeed and Hayabusa seem to be on top of their performances. It is an incredible duel after France fell out of this... (more)

Did you know that NSL-TV features Round 1 in the 8way competition?
posted: Mar 17th, 2012 The NSL News tried to get feedback from some competitors early on Saturday morning and before the competition would resume at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012, but it was challenging to find victims for live commentary. An interesting day is about to get going, with three faster rounds in 4way coming and the slower finish. The 8way competition has begun, and the first scores are posted. The Golden Knights are challenging the 22.4 average of the US Army lineup in 1997. Round 1 had a slow sequence, and the US Army team mastered it well. posted: Mar 17th, 2012 It's another beautiful spring morning in DeLand, and the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 is back in full swing after a perfect first day of the competition. NSL Reality TV goes back to Friday morning and the very beginning of the 4way competition, from dirtdives before Round 1 to the boarding area and finally the landings. Arizona Airspeed had a few funny words for the NSL News after landing the Airspeed team formation of canopies as beautifully as usual.
