Did you know that things went as expected - and not - at the Paraclete XP Championship 2012? posted: Mar 16th, 2012 The first day has been completed successfully at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012. It was all 4way, and it was loaded with exciting action. The last video of the day features the TOP 3 teams with their Rounds 4 and 5.
The meet went as expected - and it did not at the same time.
The first three rounds would not separate the top teams, and it did not. The sequences were too slow for any team to run away. However, it was still a surprise to see the Belgian NMP-PCH Hayabusa speed experts on top of the leaderboard after Round 3. That was the first surprise.

Did you know that Round 3 had the slowest sequence of the meet? posted: Mar 16th, 2012 The sequence of Round 3 at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 might be one of the slowest in the history of the sport. It fits right into the series of slow sequences that the NSL News had covered earlier.
Only NMP-PCH Hayabusa and Aerodyne Aerokart managed to complete 20 points within working time. The French team lost one point in the judging room. Arizona Airspeed completed 19 points and lost one, as well. All of a sudden, the Belgian team finds itself on the top of the leaderboard.
It's an unexpected situation, as the Hayabusa members explained earlier. The lack of outdoor training... (more)
Did you know that NSL-TV features Rounds 1 and 2 of the TOP 3 teams? posted: Mar 16th, 2012 It's time for the first videos, while the judges are working on the final scores for Round 3. The footage is not rendered, the live audience at the competition site of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 is watching the CamScore screen with all the additional features, including the review of the penalty situations in slower speed.

Did you know that Jerry Bird introduced all teams of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship at the reception in the Clarion Hotel? posted: Mar 16th, 2012 The Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 is in full swing, and the first two rounds kept the three top contenders in the Open Class close together. That was to be expected since the sequences of the first three rounds of the competition guarantee a very slow start. It would be very difficult for any team to create a significant difference to the others.
Arizona Airspeed had the best start in Round 1 and almost contradicted the expectation that not much would happen at the beginning of the competition. Winning Round 1 by two points was a great start for Airspeed and a blow to NMP-PCH Hayabusa... (more)
Did you know that Sky-diving competition to fill air over DeLand this weekend? posted: Mar 16th, 2012 The regional media once again showed some interest in the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 and announced the event before the meet weekend.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal published the article on Friday, the first day of the 4way competition. The Bike Week was happening at the same time this year, while the St. Patricks Day celebrations have been a usual part of the annual Shamrock Showdown events of the past. However, there was enough public interest, and there were also quite a few motorcycles parked at Skydive DeLand. The article was also posted on-line. NMP-PCH Hayabusa videographer... (more)
Did you know that Satori's bad luck caused a Tail chain reaction for the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship? posted: Mar 15th, 2012 Wednesday was very busy in DeLand, as it was the last more serious training day for the teams who arrived earlier for a camp before the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012. Most of those teams will take it easier on Thursday or take a day off.
Other teams arrived later on Wednesday and will have a light warmup day on Thursday, including Arizona Airspeed and Aerodyne Aerokart. The Russian Sky Panthers Barkli have scheduled two full training days before the 8way competition begins on Saturday morning, while the Golden Knights will have a light Thursday. Both 8way teams compete only in their... (more)
