posted: Mar 14th, 2012 It was the same place where the NSL News met with the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders after training was done on Tuesday. NMP-PCH Hayabusa had cleared the space, and the French national 4way team in the female category moved in on the upper deck at Skydive DeLand. Both teams have scheduled a few more training days before the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012. The NSL News had received the first French update by coach Marin Ferré on 9 March 2012. posted: Mar 13th, 2012 The NSL News goes back to the preview of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012. The teams in training enjoyed another gorgious day with perfect weather, and some of them were done early enough to spend some extra time with the NSL News. NMP-PCH Hayabusa was overdue for a live update before the start of the competition on Friday morning, and the whole lineup agreed to spend a few minutes in front of camera and microphone, including videographer Danny Jacobs and alternate Jeroen "Bob" Nollet. The currently registered 69 teams are short of the magic 70, however, a lot of work is waiting for the NSL News at Bodyflight Bedford, and the audience can once again expect an exciting competition with plenty of live NSL News coverage. The progression of the number of teams since 2006 even beats the one of the highscores for the Super Sequence in the past and is very consistent. posted: Mar 12th, 2012 The next update of the runup to the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 comes after a 2-day weather break in DeLand. It was raining on Saturday and on Sunday, and the teams in training for the competition used the first day for some time off with a lot of shopping and other indoor activities. Shopping continued on Sunday, which was scheduled as a training day for several teams, or the second day without jumping was used for other team work that needs to be done occasionally. posted: Mar 10th, 2012 The story of the Russian history in Formation Skydiving competition continues with more details of the 8way drama in 2001 that actually began in 1999, as the NSL News mentioned on 6 March 2012. Russia did not win the first 8way gold medals in Australia 1999 but sent a very strong message to the USA. Oleg Shalamykhin said that the 1999 event had become even more meaningful to his team since Sun Path owner Derek Thomas had just decided to sponsor the team with equipment after following the Russian progression for a while. posted: Mar 9th, 2012 The preview of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 continues with an update from the French delegation on Friday morning. Marin Ferré, French national 4way coach, was available for a conversation with the NSL News. He was waiting for the Aerodyne Cypres Deep Blue Defenders to land from the last training jump of a back-to-back series while he answered a few questions. He had to go back to work with the team when the Defenders had picked up their parachutes and walked back to the team's headquarters.
