posted: Apr 29th, 2012 The NSL News goes back to the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 while the teams and competitors in South Africa finish their national championships. There was an important part of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship that the NSL News has mentioned only briefly during the live coverage from DeLand. The Shamrock Showdown Skins Game brought the same excitement to all the teams as it has done in the past years. posted: Apr 28th, 2012 Fast forward by a little over a decade, from the World Meet 2001 and Russia's first 8way gold medals to the South African Nationals 2012, which are currently in full swing, and where Voodoo will have no dramatic experience to win. Voodoo has been the South African national team since 2003 and still dominates 4way competition in South Africa. Equanimity, with Gary Smith, Solly Williams, Robbie Spencer and Fred Whitsitt, had discontinued after... (more)
News Article Did you know that this is not THEIR competition - it is OUR competition?
posted: Apr 27th, 2012 It is time to continue with the coverage of the Russia 8way history that the NSL News began on 5 May 2012. The visit of the Russian 8way team Sky Panthers Barkli at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 had sparked the new topic, as several former 8way world champions are still active team members. The last update on 10 March 2012 explained how the Russian 8way team came dangerously close to Arizona Airspeed in 1999 and lost the gold medals due to the penalty situation: "Russia had actually outscored Airspeed by six points (219 - 213) within working time. The judges did not like the Russian... (more)
News Article Did you know that the NSL News overlooked the French double gold attempt in 2008?
posted: Apr 26th, 2012 The NSL News has covered the biggest challenge in Formation Skydiving competition quite a few times in the past, the pursuit of winning gold medals in 4way and in 8way at the same World Championship of Formation Skydiving. No complete 4way lineup has ever achieved this, and only one single competitor can claim this unique accomplishment: Mathieu Bernier from France in Menzelinsk 2010. This is nothing new, as the NSL News has covered the topic from almost all angles. However, there was one missing piece in the coverage of the double gold history. The latest story on 1 April 2012 was also the... (more)

It was time to follow up with a more personal introduction of the team members when Team4speed visited in DeLand for a spring training camp. The French VFS experts had scheduled their visit around the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 that was taking place at the same time.... (more)
News Article Did you know that Thunder is still hoping for the showdown with Germany's Paratec-Saar?
posted: Apr 24th, 2012 The NSL News reported on 28 February 2012 that there would be pressure on team Thunder at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012. It would be the first outdoor competition for the Dutch/Belgian 4way combination where the amateur team would meet the best 4way teams in the world. Thunder had attended the World Challenge 2011 with most of the top 4way teams and won the ESL Championship 2011. However, the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship had both, the best 4way teams in the world at an outdoor competition, which was something special and new for the two Dutch and two Belgian members. Additional... (more)
