News Article Did you know that JaNette Lefkowitz was the highest scoring female competitor at the World Challenge 2012?
posted: Apr 17th, 2012 The female 4way teams had their own leaderboard for the first time at the World Challenge 2012. It was well worth it since the number of teams doubled compared to last year's event. The separate leaderboard also makes it easier to follow the competition in the female 4way category and the race to Dubai 2012. Female 4way competition has had its own place at the IPC (International Parachuting Commission) events since it was introduced in 2001. However, there is always an interesting mix with the teams of the Open Class, as several female world class competitors are also in lineups with the... (more)
News Article Did you know that the RaceHouse offers additional entertainment at Bodyflight Bedford?
posted: Apr 16th, 2012 The NSL News trip to Bodyflight Bedford for the annual World Challenge has always included a surprise that host Paul Mayer had in store for the audience and for the participants. It was not the consistently higher number of teams that the NSL News eventually got used to. It was a new addition to the facilities or a new toy that would make the visit even more entertaining and interesting, besides the world class 4way competition. Host Paul Mayer took the NSL News on a sighseeing tour at the first visit in 2007, which was impressive enough due to the sophisticated and spacious facilities around... (more)

News Article Did you know that a French competitor cross trains in three events to get ready for 8way?
posted: Apr 15th, 2012 The World Challenge 2012 is history now, while the record breaking leaderboard with its exciting numbers continue to catch the NSL News attention in many different ways. This year's event was the first time that host Paul Mayer did not set up a Super Sequence in the AAA Class competition draw somewhere in the 10-round meet. It did not keep any teams away from Bodyflight Bedford, and it also did not even keep some of the teams from posting even higher meet averages compared to the World Challenge 2011. Three of the TOP 10 teams managed to score higher than last year, and the most significant... (more)
News Article Did you know that Hyrrokkin is highly motivated for the 2012 season?
posted: Apr 13th, 2012 Round 7 of the World Challenge 2012 did not only get special NSL News attention due to Just4Fun's re-flying session. The NSL News also followed AA Class team Hyrrokkin into the flying chamber to keep an eye on James Woods, former Satori member Katie Woods' little brother. The story on 7 April 2012 included the mention of Hyrrokkin's Round 7. It was not a happy story at this point in time. Hyrrokkin had the worst round of the meet and lost three points in addition to a few hickups. The 11-pointer on the scoreboard allowed the team in 2nd place, DNOUT from Italy, to catch up with the leader after... (more)
News Article Did you know that the NSL News followed Aerodyne Aerokart for one whole training day?
posted: Apr 12th, 2012 The NSL News took a closer look at the situation of NMP-PCH Hayabusa after the recent performances at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2012 and then at the World Challenge 2012 on 10 April 2012. It must have been very encouraging from the Belgian perspective. The next review in the aftermath of the World Challenge 2012 is the view from the French perspective, and it covers the situation after the same two events. France had once again the biggest foreign delegation at Bodyflight Bedford with a total of 10 teams, all of them competing in the AAA Class, eight in the Open Class and two in... (more)
