News Article Did you know that the teams completed all ten rounds in Denmark?
posted: Jul 19th, 2012 The teams in Denmark completed ten rounds, and nothing changed in the rankings at all. Bodyflight Voluntas won with the team's best performance of the year, and Denmark's national team seems to get ready for the internal Scandinavian showdown with Sweden's team Bardagi. This year's Voluntas scores don't seem to support the team's progression to the mentioned competition with Bardagi and other teams in the middle of the international leaderboards, as the scores are lower compared to previous Voluntas lineups. However, the NSL News story on 8 May 2012 explained why the Danish national Open Class... (more)
News Article Did you know that the race for silver medals in Denmark is as exciting as expected?
posted: Jul 18th, 2012 The NSL News story on 13 July 2012 reported that the Danish Nationals 2012 are promising an exciting AAA Class competition behind the national 4way team, Bodyflight Voluntas. The championship is now in full swing, and it is just as exciting as it was expected. Voluntas lost two points in Round 2 but has no problem pulling away from the field round by round. Veyron, the national B-Team, is holding the 2nd place after Round 4, which keeps things in order so far. However, the distance to the nearest challenger is only three points, and Veyron cannot relax yet, as three teams are still in striking... (more)
News Article Did you know that Equinox posted a new outdoor team record in Round 1?
posted: Jul 17th, 2012 Another team, the fifth one at the moment, has caught with the busiest teams of the 2012 season. Rookie Class team Exquinox from Lithuania attended the fourth meet last weekend and is now waiting for more Rookie Class scores to be posted. The video shows two of the five meet jumps, including the 17-pointer in Round 1, which is the new outdoor record score for Equinox. FAI Judge Jurate Janusauskiene provided the scores, and the team's Center Inside, Algimantas Skuodis, reported that the weather did not allow the completion of six rounds: "As usually, the weekend weather was not good here, so... News Article Did you know that the Qatar Tigers posted a 15.9 average in Germany?
posted: Jul 17th, 2012 The latest additions to last weekend's leaderboard came from Germany where national coach Mathias "Mausi" Maushake organized the Aero Cup at his home DZ in Kassel-Calden. It was the last test for the two German teams for the national championships in August, while four lineups from Qatar finished up their training camp with the competition. The NSL News had introduced Gamma Ray Kassel with the story on 3 June 2012. The German team now improved the meet average from 13.7 after nine rounds in June to 15.4 last weekend after seven rounds. Gamma Ray will probably need another push between now and... (more)
News Article Did you know that the July meet in the Czech Republic was almost completely weathered out?
posted: Jul 16th, 2012 No big news came from the Czech Republic where the July meet was on the agenda last weekend. The bad weather forecast kept several teams from making the trip to PrĂbram, and the weather was indeed not very supportive. The three teams who showed up for the competition managed to complete one round and then had to give up. It was bad luck for Rookie Class team Best of Relative who were ready for their first meet this year. League manager Jan Klapka obviously did not miss much this time. He is still recovering in bed from his ankle injury and waits for the next x-ray check next week. The national... (more)

posted: Jul 16th, 2012 The July meet of the Northern Plains Skydiving League brought eight teams back to Skydive Twin Cities, together with event coach JaNette Lefkowitz. Both AAA Class teams attended their second meet this year, and Acme finished in the middle of the overall leaderboard and the many French teams. AA Class team Cosmic Debris took the top spot in the AA Class for the third time this year and now has to wait until the leaderboard will be complete. It was the first time that Cosmic Debris competed on the same weekend when the AA Class teams in France posted their scores as well, and the NPSL team... (more)
