Did you know that Skydive San Marcos hosted the Texas Summer Showdown? posted: Jul 31st, 2012 Last weekend's overall leaderboard needs once again a few adjustments in the two categories where teams competed at different locations and completed different numbers of rounds.
The German teams used the whole weekend of great weather in Kassel-Calden to complete all ten rounds of the draw. The teams at Skydive San Marcos in Texas competed only on Saturday and were done after six rounds. To make it fair, only the first six rounds of the Usual Suspects should count for the overall standings, which would place the German AAA Class team on the top in this category.

Did you know that the Florida Skydiving League has one more day to improve the scores? posted: Jul 30th, 2012 The July showdown between the Northwest Skydiving League and the Florida Skydiving League included a live outdoor competition and the virtual indoor meet at iFLY Orlando and iFLY Seattle.
The outdoor competition is over and was tied between the A Class and Rookie Class teams where each league produced one winning team. The Northwest Skydiving League did not recruit a AAA Class team for the July meet, and no teams competed in the AA Class at either location.
The indoor competition is not over yet, as it finishes officially on July 31st. However, the NWSL teams may be too far away for the teams... (more)
Did you know that Paradox Kassel is the busiest outdoor team in Germany this year? posted: Jul 29th, 2012 The first scores of the weekend are coming from Germany where the skydiving center AERO Fallschirmsport in Kassel-Calden hosted the regional championship of Hessen.
Usual Suspects was the only team in the AAA Class and attended the team's second outdoor competition this year after launching the 2012 season at the World Challenge 2012. More AAA Class scores will be arriving from Texas this weekend.

Did you know that ISB Air Remscheid is back in outdoor action and ready for SkyQuest Germany 2012? posted: Jul 28th, 2012 NSL-TV had featured an ISB Air Remscheid video of the annual nationwide 2way competition in Germany with the story on 29 June 2012. The German top contender for medals in the female 4way category at the World Meet 2012 was still missing Center Outside Sarah Hajooze for outdoor training and competition at that point in time.
The wait is over now. ISB Air Remscheid has completed the first outoor training weekend successfully a few weeks ago and is getting ready for more. It was the first time since March 2011 that the current lineup jumped from a plane. ISB Air Remscheid was able to resume indoor... (more)
Did you know that Satori completed six rounds in two hours? posted: Jul 27th, 2012 The NSL News story on 21 July 2012 covered the recent competition at Hibaldstow in the UK, host of the national championships. Seven Satori Academy teams attended the competition, a very impressive number, and the story featured the A Class with three Satori lineups.
The story also mentioned that Satori's national team (Julia Foxwell, Aaron Faith, Ian Hodgkinson, John McIver, with Dave Head on camera) was planning to do the meet jumps after all teams werde done for the day, and the scores would be added later. The judges had a very long day, too, and the Satori scores were still posted on the... (more)
Did you know that NWSL Yeah Team won the Rookie Class showdown last weekend? posted: Jul 26th, 2012 The meets of the Carolina and MidAtlantic Skydiving League being weathered out left only teams from the Northwest and Florida Skydiving League on last weekend's leaderboard in the Unites States. The competition at Hibaldstow, UK, had a different draw.
This coincidence brought additional spice to the indoor competition project between the teams and competitors of both regions at iFLY Orlando and iFLY Seattle that the NSL News had introduced on 6 July 2012. Both leagues did not synchronize their 2012 schedules at the beginning of the season, and last weekend's meets just happened to be on the... (more)
