This time though, the NSL News did not leave the flying chamber after Aerokart Deep Blue completed the AAA Class rotation.
It was time to take a closer look at the teams who delivered the amazing performances in Round 2. Raykipo's 50-pointer in Round 2 was probably the highest indoor score ever in the A Class. NSL-TV then captured the team's next round, which was the slowest one so far in this category.

Did you know that 12-year young Kalle Pohjola posted the highest score for Round 1? posted: Apr 5th, 2013 Round 2 has been completed, and the two family teams with the Grauwels brothers for Belgium and the Lemay brothers from Canada continue to outscore all other top teams at the World Challenge 2013. The Rhythm family with JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz is in the mix for the positions behind the two leaders.
There are more family relations within the Top 10 teams. Brother Andrew Kharitonov and sister Katya Kharitonova are in 8th (SportLoto) and 9th (a.team4way) place.

Did you know that NSL TV features Round 1 in the AAA Open Class? posted: Apr 5th, 2013 Round 1 is complete, and the NSL TV videos have been uploaded before the scores are posted.
The video coverage of Round 1 features the last ten teams in the rotation, which may all be found at the top or close to the Top 10 positions on the leaderboard.
It is the first action video of NMP-PCH Hayabusa after the Mondial 2012 where the Belgian team placed 2nd, one point behind Arizona Airspeed.
Brothers Andy and David Grauwels, Roy Janssen and Dennis Praet have recovered from the dramatic finish in Dubai and delivered a flawless performance in Round 1. The scores will follow as soon as possible.

Did you know that the judges pulled an average competition draw out of the bag in Bedford? posted: Apr 5th, 2013 The live competition draw at the World Challenge 2013 almost generated a Super Sequence for Round 1. Four Random Formations were already drawn consecutively, and only Block 3 came in the way.
The World Challenge used to have a Super Sequence in the draw by default. Host Paul Mayer changed this policy two years ago when a majority of participants voted for the same drawing procedures as they are applied at outdoor competitions. This year's draw begins with two fast sequences. 15 of the 16 Random Formations are in the 10-round meet and 20 of the 22 blocks. One fast block (5) and one slow block... (more)
Did you know that the laughing team is back in World Challenge action? posted: Apr 4th, 2013 Aerokart Deep Blue is back at Bodyflight Bedford for the World Challenge 2013, and the team is having just as much fun as it used to be when they dominated the female 4way competition.
Berangere Duplouy and Francoise Simons-Hamouchi are both mothers, and their (latest) children are two years old by now. They had the first reunion at the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2013 and are back in Bedford for some more fun.

Did you know that British security is on highest Fun Flag alert? posted: Apr 4th, 2013 Thursday's NSL News live coverage of the World Challenge 2013 continues with teams that may not be so much in the spotlight during the competition, when the top of the leaderboard catches most of the attention.
The NSL News featured Kalle Pohjola earlier today, the 12-year young 4way competitor from Finland who flies the Tail slot for the Pro Team. Father Kimmo is the team's Center Outside, and mother Outi is across of the formations in the Point slot.
