News Article Did you know that the Wind Games ended with a win-win-win situation?
posted: Feb 7th, 2017 The first showdown of the year between NMP PCH HayaBusa and Weembi Lille Wind Games 2017 came to a happy end for all three teams on the top of the leaderboard. The Belgian 4-way world champions fended off the next Weembi challenge successfully with a strong performance in the second half of the meet. HayaBusa was trailing by two points after Round 3, and both teams were tied at the end of the first meet day. Weembi was hoping to keep the distance to HayaBusa within ten points, as Roy Janssen told the Sun Path Products NSL News on 24 January 2017, and they did so with a new team record average.... (more)
News Article Did you know that NSL-TV features the record number videos of January's Indoor Cloud League competition?
posted: Feb 6th, 2017 The first Indoor Cloud League leaderboards of the new year are finally complete, and the January participation turned out to break all previous records. The highest number of submitted videos so far was 52 in April 2016. It was one of the last leaderboards with all teams performing only sequences of the 12+ dive pool. The division happened at the end of August 2016, when the new 14+ leaderboard was added to the Indoor Cloud League. 55 videos were submitted for the month of January 2017, with six ICL teams on the 14+ leaderboard and four on the 12+ leaderboard. The biggest contributor was... (more)
News Article Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP started the 2017 season with new team videographer Adam Elkin?
posted: Feb 5th, 2017 It is not only Arizona Airspeed watching the best 4-way teams in the world posting their scores at events where they don't face up with them. SDC Rhythm XP is just as interested in the performances of the potential Airspeed opponents as the reigning U.S. 4-way champions are. The reason is very logical and very simple: Rhythm plans to be the U.S. national team and compete for the FAI medals at world championships. The 2017 season brings an opportunity to SDC Rhythm XP that is probably the most promising one in the history of the team. Rhythm goes into the second year with the same lineup,... (more)
News Article Did you know that iFLY Sacramento started the new Indoor Cloud League year with 139 points?
posted: Feb 4th, 2017 The Indoor Cloud League teams performing the monthly sequences in 14+ flying chambers have been out-numbering the 12+ teams for a while. However, the competition is still as popular as ever and continues in the smaller wind tunnels with the smaller dive pool, even with ICL teams now posting scores on the additional and separate 14+ leaderboard. In fact, some of the teams have performed both sets of the AAA - AA - A sequences for additional practice of the block techniques. The Canadian teams 4Astrophe (AAA) and Air Devils (AA - A) from SkyVenture Montreal recently posted scores on both leaderboards. iFLY... (more)

The Belgian 4-way world champions had a rough start and collected six penalties in the first three rounds, which gave Weembi a 4-point lead. However, HayaBusa was clean and fast in the two following rounds, and that is a winning combination. The Wind Games is the first of the three confrontations before both teams may or may not have their final showdown at the FAI Indoor World Meet 2017 at SkyVenture Montreal. French Indoor Nationals at the end of... (more)

Even more scores will be added in the coming days, also from another new ICL team from Paraclete XP. The current highscores for the 14+ sequences are spread all over the leaderboard, and each of the five ICL teams has at least tied one of them. iFLY Dallas shares the 29-pointer highscore for the RR Class sequence with iFLY Seattle. Player coaches... (more)
