News Article Did you know that iFLY Seattle added 19 points to the ICL January account?
posted: Feb 1st, 2017 The first January scores of the Indoor Cloud League 2017 season were posted by iFLY Seattle on 16 January, and the Sun Path Products NSL News reported that Northwest Skydiving League director Deb Correia had scheduled a second ICL event this month. This second Indoor Cloud League night at iFLY Seattle was very successful, and the three participating teams improved the scores in five of the six ICL categories. News Article Did you know that Volition is stepping up with the training efforts?
posted: Jan 31st, 2017 The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 12 January 2017 that British team 4mula has a new lineup. The same story mentioned that 2016 members Kate Lindsley and Sian Stokes were planning to focus more on their all-female 4-way team Volition this year, while 4mula would continue with a new lineup. Volition started as a team for a meet at the World Challenge 2016 and won the 4-way Women competition by two points (23.2 - 23.0) over Canada's national team Parachute Montreal Fuzion and far ahead of the British national team NFTO. News Article Did you know that the Czech Rookie Class teams are progressing too quickly?
posted: Jan 30th, 2017 The Czech 4-way teams started the Indoor Cloud League 2017 season at the Hurricane Factory in Prague with a very strong statement. Nine of the 13 teams that competed at the WTL/ETL meet in January also joined forces to perform the six sequences for the ICL 14+ leaderboard. Result was a total of 137 points and five of the six highscores. iFLY Tampa's AAA Class lineup is still holding the 20-pointer highscore for the AAA sequence, tied with Bad Boys and HF Chicks. The RRR Class lineups of iFLY Seattle and iFLY Tampa are the only teams who outscored the Czech team in this category, Mimozemky.Hurricane... (more)
News Article Did you know that Australia is hosting the FAI World Meet 2018?
posted: Jan 29th, 2017 The Sun Path Products NSL News mentioned on 21 December 2016 that Australia was bidding to host the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving in 2018, and that a positive decision by the FAI/IPC in January "could motivate Australian Formation Skydiving competitors once again to pursue new performance levels and improve previous national records". NMP PCH HayaBusa member David Grauwels told the Sun Path Products NSL News that the vote took place at the FAI/IPC plenary meeting on Saturday in Portugal, and Australia's bid won over the Russian one. News Article Did you know that Seattle Swift is the undisputed Number One in the AA Class Team World Rankings?
posted: Jan 28th, 2017 The Team World Rankings of the Sun Path Products NSL News are not only featuring the best 4-way teams in the world who apply the complete FAI Open Class/AAA Class dive pool. The SKYLEAGUE.COM database allows the same rankings for all other categories, as well. A total of 106 teams competed in the AA/Intermediate Class last year, and most of the teams apply the same dive pool with all 16 random formations, the 16 blocks without slot switchers and 4/5-point sequences. News Article Did you know that iFLY Tampa has joined the Indoor Cloud League 14+ competition?
posted: Jan 28th, 2017 The new year of the Indoor Cloud League begins with a new team on the 14+ leaderboard. The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 22 January 2017 that teams and competitors of the Florida Skydiving League will have the opportunity to post scores for the monthly 14+ sequences at iFLY Tampa. The first ICL event at the brand-new wind tunnel took place on Thursday, and the iFLY Tampa team posted a complete set of six scores and videos. The FSL Tunnel Kicker at iFLY Tampa attracted a different group of 4-way competitors, who are mostly coming from Florida's west coast on the Gulf of Mexico. Most... (more)
