posted: Mar 29th, 2017 The Sun Path Products NSL News covered the 8-way competition at the French Indoor Nationals 2017 and the impressive Fly-In Machine 44 performance with the update on 26 March 2017. The story mentioned that the 8-way teams completed all ten rounds at Weembi, even though the competition was actually over after six rounds. There was not enough time left for the official judging of the remaining four rounds. However, Weembi Lille member Julien Degen, host of the event and 8-way world champion of 2006 and 2008, promised the 8-way teams that he would follow up with the missing scores of the last... (more)
News Article Did you know that the power rankings for the World Challenge have changed after Weembi?
posted: Mar 28th, 2017 The results of the French Indoor Nationals 2017 had an impact on the power rankings for the upcoming World Challenge 2017 too. The French Weembi Girls have taken back the top position in the duel with the French national team in 4-way Open, RealFly-Sion, after a convincing performance at the French Indoor Nationals 2017. In fact, the French Weembi Girls were the only team who scored higher last weekend at Weembi than at the Wind Games at the beginning of February. The French Indoor Nationals 2017 will soon be followed by the World Challenge 2017 before the teams turn back to outdoor training and competition. The aftermath of the French Indoor Nationals at Weembi will begin soon with the InTime judging videos. The Indoor Cloud League continues throughout the whole year and has no off-season, as the wind tunnel groups and teams have a whole month to train and perform the six sequences. The end of the month... (more)
News Article Did you know that only the Golden Knights ever scored higher than the Belgian Fly-In Machine44?
posted: Mar 26th, 2017 The French Indoor Nationals 2017 are over, and the World Challenge 2017 is next, coming in two weeks. The showdown between NMP PCH HayaBusa and Weembi Lille came out to the advantage of the Belgian indoor and outdoor world champions once again, and they remain undefeated with the current lineup with Jeroen "Bob" Nollet in the tail slot. HayaBusa's world champion tail of 2014, Roy Janssen, tried once again to create the first upset with his other three French 4-way world champions of 2010 and had to accept the consistent HayaBusa power. In fact, the French Indoor Nationals became the first... (more)
News Article Did you know that the French Indoor Nationals 2017 are in full swing at Weembi?
posted: Mar 25th, 2017 The first competition day of the French Indoor Nationals 2017 was in full swing until a flaw in the video and judging system interrupted the exciting action for a while. The audience may have been wondering why the scores for Round 3 were posted on the leaderboard before Round 2 was complete. In fact, there were no scores of Round 2 at all, even though all teams had completed the round. A flaw in the recording system created several judging videos that could not be used as they did not include the entry into the flying chamber. Judges and meet management eventually decided to send all teams... (more)
News Article Did you know that Philippe Schorno is in charge of the French indoor success at the FAI Indoor World Meet 2017?
posted: Mar 24th, 2017 The training day for the French Indoor Nationals 2017 at Weembi continued for the Sun Path Products NSL News with the French national team in 4-way Open, RealFly-Sion, who shared their last training session with an 8-way lineup of Martial Ferre's Veloce project. The French Weembi Girls used their free time to pack a few parachutes in the office area, and it turned out that they needed the combined strength of three team members (Clementine Le Bohec, Pamela Lissajoux, Christine Malnis) to close one of the containers with real team work. RealFly Sion used a similar training format that all... (more)
