Did you know that the recent 4-way Women and 4-way VFS history is similar? posted: Oct 24th, 2017 NMP PCH HayaBusa has not been the only dominating team in the Formation Skydiving indoor and outdoor world of the recent years. The Golden Knights had not lost a meet to any other team in 4-way Women since August 2014, after taking the world's top spot away from France in this event. The French Girls had the same dominating indoor and outdoor position for several years, which came to an end after winning the last FAI outdoor gold medals in Prostejov 2014.
The French Weembi Girls are now on the way to regain the same dominating top spot after winning outdoor gold at the FAI World Cup 2017 and... (more)
Did you know that the October leaderboard of the World Tunnel League features teams from Florida and Northern California? posted: Oct 23rd, 2017 Other indoor events continued to take place while the best 4-way national teams in the world were getting ready for and then competed at the FAI Indoor World Meet 2017.
Florida and Northern California held their respective World Tunnel League October meets earlier this month, and the Florida scores of the iFLY Tampa event were posted on 16 October 2017. Northern California followed up a few days later at iFLY SF Bay with the same competition draw and new scores.
The ten monthly sequences are a mixture of the 12+ and the 14+ dive pool, which allows all teams and competitors at wind tunnels... (more)
Did you know that Aerokart Ak'demie 2 and Air Devils lifted AA Class competition to a new performance level? posted: Oct 22nd, 2017 The AAA Class sequence for Round 10 (K,E,10,11) at the FAI Indoor World Meet 2017 did not allow any team to make a significant move on the 4-way Open Class leaderboard. Only the teams that were close enough to each other before Round 10 still had an opportunity to change things in the last round, and there were a few occasions.
All four winners in the Formation Skydiving events (NMP PCH HayaBusa in 4-way Open, French Weembi Girls in 4-way Women, Aerokart Ak'demie in 4-way Junior, France in 4-way VFS) had secured their gold medal positions before the last round and just had to carry their leads... (more)
Did you know that the French Weembi Girls are once again looking at the 4-way Open Class leaderboard in Montreal? posted: Oct 21st, 2017 The second half of the FAI Indoor World Meet 2017 is in full swing on Saturday, and the 4-way Open Class battle between NMP PCH HayaBusa and the Weembi High Rollers is as exciting as it was promising after the first five rounds.
Weembi was standing with the back to the wall this morning and had nothing else in mind than moving forward, which turned out to be very successful in Round 6. The stage was set for today's four rounds, and the pressure was on the Belgian indoor and outdoor world champions.
However, they are on the top of the world for a reason and had the right answer after the 2-point... (more)
Did you know that Saturday will be an uphill battle for the Weembi High Rollers? posted: Oct 20th, 2017 The FAI Indoor World Meet 2017 lived up to all expectations on the first meet day. Weembi High Rollers challenged NMP PCH HayaBusa to the limits, as it was meant to be.
The meet story is similar compared to the World Challenge 2017 so far, where Weembi took the first lead over the Belgian indoor and outdoor world champions. HayaBusa then struck back by three points in Round 4 in Bedford.
This time, it was Round 5 when the Belgians turned the 1-point deficit after Round 3 into a 5-point lead at the end of the day. Weembi had claimed or tied the highscores for all four rounds before and were... (more)
Did you know that the poll results for the FAI Indoor World Cup offer no surprises? posted: Oct 19th, 2017 It's time for the indoor showdown in Montreal, where Round 1 is scheduled for Friday morning at 8:00 AM.
The results of the polls don't offer any big surprises, even though NMP PCH HayaBusa is apparently expected to win more clearly than the previous duels with the Weembi High Rollers turned out. This will probably even surprise the Belgians who had to switch back and forth between indoor and outdoor training, while the High Rollers focused exclusively on this indoor showdown with HayaBusa.
Arizona Airspeed is not expected to play any role in this duel, which is also not a big surprise. Both... (more)
