News Article Did you know that the FSL teams were luckier with the July weather this year?
posted: Jul 20th, 2005 The 5th meet of the Florida Skydiving League 2005 took place at Skydive DeLand on July 16, while both home teams, DeLand Majik and DeLand Fire, were touring Europe. By the way, the competition draw for the five rounds of the World Games have now been added to the scoring table. As the NSL News reported with the story on July 18, DeLand Majik won the gold medals with a 23.2 meet average. DeLand Fire has not traveled back home yet, as well. posted: Jul 19th, 2005 The NSL News provided feedback by the four US top teams that competed at the Malevsky Cup 2005 after interviews with Airspeed's Kirk Verner, DeLand Fire's Gary Smith and Fastrax members John Hart and Niklas Hemlin. Next step was to follow up with feedback from the two remaining US 2005 top contenders, DeLand Majik and the Golden Knights. posted: Jul 18th, 2005 The World Games were held last week in Duisburg, Germany, and parachuting competitions were a part of the event. News Article Did you know that Elsinore GT has finalized the 2005 line-up?
posted: Jul 15th, 2005 The first two rounds of the Southwest Skydiving League June meet on NSL-TV included competition jumps of Elsinore GT, one of the busiest 4-way teams over the years. EGT had a very slow start into the 2005 season caused by problems to complete the final line-up. However, the first 2005 meet was a great success for EGT with the highest meet average in the team's history. EGT placed second out of 11 AAA Class teams in Perris, and the 16.0 average after six rounds took the 4th position in the overall AAA Class rankings of 41 teams that weekend. posted: Jul 15th, 2005 The NSL News has tried to get as much feedback as possible from the top teams of the Malevsky Cup after the 2005 competition was completed. Arizona Airspeed's Kirk Verner provided insights in the NSL News interview on July 7. DeLand Fire's Gary Smith was next with his summary on July 10. posted: Jul 14th, 2005 The second round of the Southwest Skydiving League June meet is now featured on NSL-TV. The complete event information of the Malevsky Cup 2005 is still available and can be found either by clicking on the Malevsky Cup logo on the top of the homepage or by navigating to the International league page and the according event date.
