News Article Did you know that new NSL-TV CamScore videos feature several 8-way teams at the USPA Nationals 2010?
posted: Oct 4th, 2010 The NSL News followed the 8-way Open Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2010 with two stories. The first story on 13 September 2010 was posted after the 8-way teams had completed three rounds. The competition was still open at that time, even though it was almost impossible to imagine that Arizona Airspeed would be able to keep up with the Golden Knights. It happened though, as Airspeed needed Round 1 to warm up and then tied the Golden Knights scores in Round 2 and Round 3. News Article Did you know that NSL-TV features Rounds 9 and 10 of the Top 6 teams in Menzelinsk?
posted: Oct 2nd, 2010 The competition videos of Round 9 and Round 10 of the Top 6 teams at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010 have now been uploaded and complete the NSL-TV review of this part of the leaderboard. The videos bring back memories of the incredibly dramatic finish in Menzelinsk. The NSL News reported the grande finale of the 4-way Open Class competition live from Menzelinsk with the story on 5 August 2010. News Article Did you know that the Fun Flag is currently in Germany?
posted: Oct 1st, 2010 The status of the Fun Flag was updated by the NSL News in eight stories during the coverage of the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010. The Fun Flag made the headlines three times, and the last update was posted on 5 August 2010: "The NSL News used the time after the jump planes took off and the landing for a new NSL Talk session with Joey Jones and Thomas Hughes. News Article Did you know that DeLand Shmeland XP won this year's unofficial US amateur title?
posted: Sep 30th, 2010 The NSL News has covered the unofficial category of the "amateur teams" for a long time, as a part of the World Championships of Formation Skydiving as well as the USPA Nationals. There is no definition for this category, and it is impossible to draw a clear line between weekend amateur and real professional competitors. However, there is still a difference between the top teams and full time skydivers and the other passionate competitors who spend a lot of time and money to become as good as they can be according to their limited efforts. News Article Did you know that the Golden Knights Gold lineup took control of the race for bronze medals?
posted: Sep 29th, 2010 The NSL News story on 12 September 2010 came live from the USPA Nationals 2010 and included the videos of three teams and their first three rounds. The storyline was the competition for the USPA bronze medals, and the featured teams were the Golden Knights Gold, Paraclete XP4 and SDC Rhythm XP. The NSL News now follows up with the next three rounds of the same three teams. The storyline is the same as it was still a competition for the bronze medals after six rounds. News Article Did you know that only four 4-way Open Class competitors have attended the last four world meets?
posted: Sep 28th, 2010 There are not even a handful of 4-way competitors who have competed at each of the last four World Championships of Formation Skydiving. In fact, the number is exactly four, and they are not of the same lineup or even country. However, three of them are still training and competing together: NMP-PCH Hayabusa members Roy Janssen, David and Andy Grauwels. The fourth 4-way competitor is from Russia. He is the Center Inside for the Sky Panthers, Michail Kuznetsov, and he is now the 4-way competitor who competed at all four world meets between 2004 and 2010 and won the most medals.
