posted: Aug 12th, 2009 The August meet of the Midwest Skydiving League showcased the hard work and commitment that many teams have put in over the 2009 season. SDC Rhythm XP's Center Outside, JaNette Lefkowitz, provided the meet report for the NSL News. This Saturday's MWSL meet brought seven teams to Skydive Chicago. posted: Aug 9th, 2009 Russia and the Netherlands have still been battling with the weather. The Russian teams completed all ten rounds of the 4-way competition but have been on standby after only one round in 8-way. Germany and the United Kingdom did not have any problems with the weather and completed their events. A few scores are still missing on the UK leaderboard where Satori finished the meet with a new team record 20.7 average. It might even be the highest meet average ever at UK national championships, including the XL scores. It was only a matter of time when the British 4-way powerhouse would produce a... (more)

Last year's 43 teams were already evidence for the British upswing in 4-way Formation Skydiving competition. This year's numbers for all four competition classes are even more convincing. Many of the teams have already competed earlier this year at the meets of the United Kingdom Skydiving League (UKSL), others are joining the national championships for the first time or are just having fun there. The competition began this morning, and it is a smooth operation at Skydive Hibaldstow where UK's... (more)
