News Article Did you know that the SDC Furies XP tied the team's highest meet average last weekend?
posted: Jun 27th, 2011 Last weekend's season opener of the Midwest Skydiving League was the second competition for the SDC Furies XP on home turf at Skydive Chicago. The Furies launched their 2011 season at the Shamrock Showdown 2011 and posted the next scores at the Midway Battle in Ottawa. The scores at the MWSL June meet last weekend brought the Furies back to the highest scoring level that the team has shown in its 9-year history. They finished the 6-round meet with a 15.5 average, which ties the 15.5 average that the Furies had posted at the MWSL September meet in 2009. The scoring progression of the 2011... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Final Four rear piece won a 2-way competition in Germany?
posted: Jun 26th, 2011 The first scores this weekend are not coming from one of the five 4-way meets across the globe. Germany is hosting the nationwide annual 2-way competition. National coach Mathias Maushake collects all information at his own Aerosport Fallschirmsport GmbH skydiving center in Kassel where nine 2-way teams were posting scores for the 3-round meet. This event was introduced in 2007 and is open for everybody. German top competitors compete together with participants from the grassroot level in all kind of different combinations. News Article Did you know that the Satori Academy is coaching six farm teams?
posted: Jun 25th, 2011 The NSL News recently reported how former Satori member Katie Woods had a busy weekend in DeLand. She is also traveling back and forth between Florida and Europe for her coaching jobs. In the meantime, her former team Satori, UK 4-way champion of the past years, has moved on. Satori with the new lineup competed at the World Challenge 2011. UK's national team did not attend the first two 2011 meets of the United Kingdom Skydiving League. posted: Jun 24th, 2011 The new meet weekend is coming up, and teams will compete at five different locations if the weather cooperates everywhere. It is time to look one more time at last weekend's leaderboard and find out which team deserves the unofficial title of the "Team of the Weekend". The teams that have moved up into the next higher competition class are often in the center of the NSL News attention. News Article Did you know that Katie Woods had a busy FSL weekend in DeLand?
posted: Jun 23rd, 2011 The last meet report of the past weekend comes from Florida where three teams endured the first of the two "FSL Summer Heat" competitions. The Florida Skydiving League used to run the competition season only throughout the fall, winter and spring months in the early years. The schedule was synchronized with the other leagues when the NSL Network grew. The next part of the "FSL Summer Heat" will take place in Sebastian. However, new Rookie Class competitors (Michael B. News Article Did you know that Tenacity videographer Beth Shell was Jenacity's Center Inside last weekend?
posted: Jun 22nd, 2011 Two of the 38 teams last weekend competed in the Mideast Skydiving League at Start Skydiving. Both came back after also attending the MESL 2011 season opener in May. Jenacity competed in the AA Class, while the Bushwackers came back for the second meet in the Rookie Class competition. MESL Director and Tenacity/Jenacity member Joan Esson reported that the weather was very challenging last weekend at Start Skydiving. There was rain on Saturday morning, and good spotting was essential to avoid clouds. The weather conditions limited the Rookie Class team to only completing four of the six anticipated... (more)
