posted: Nov 8th, 2010 The NSL News goes back to the more recent history after the excursions to the very beginning of Formation Skydiving competition with Jerry Bird and earlier to the roots of Arizona Airspeed. Rounds 7 and 8 of the female 4-way competition at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010 have now been uploaded and are available for reviews. The stories of the previous rounds explained that there was not really much competition in this category. posted: Nov 7th, 2010 The NSL News has recently gone quite far back in time during the coverage of the new Arizona Airspeed lineup. Mark Kirkby's new NSL Profile story did not only begin with the first Airspeed lineup of 1994. It also covered the earlier time in US Formation Skydiving competition after his arrival in California, including teams like the Gumbies and Airmoves. However, even the Airspeed history flashbacks were nothing compared to another view back in time that goes to the very beginnings of Formation Skydiving competition. News Article Did you know that the 3rd Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championships are scheduled for February 2011?
posted: Nov 5th, 2010 Paraclete XP, the 16-foot wind tunnel in Raeford, North Carolina, began a series of events actually with an outdoor meet. The Paraclete XP Money Meet was held the first time in July 2007 only as an outdoor competition. A year later, Tim D'Annunzio was ready to run the first big indoor competition. He combined Paraclete XP Money Meet and Indoor Skydiving Championships in June 2008 for a very intense weekend package. posted: Nov 4th, 2010 The recent stories covering the new Arizona Airspeed lineup and Mark Kirkby's competition career brought the NSL News and the audience back to the original Airspeed lineup. NSL-TV uploaded competition jumps of the original lineup with the story on 28 October 2010. The Airspeed coverage included the 8-way event, which Airspeed gave full attention beginning in 1996. Craig Girard had left the Golden Knights after winning three World Meet 8-way gold medals and took charge of forming and guiding the new Airspeed 8-way lineup. posted: Nov 3rd, 2010 Former DeLand Majik 4-way world champion and Team Fastrax member Doug Park provided the NSL News with his take on the new Arizona Airspeed lineup during the live NSL Talk on 26 October 2010. Original plan was to have his Majik team mate Solly Williams join the conversation, which did not materialize that day. Solly Williams took the time yesterday to visit the NSL office for his own NSL Talk session. He added quite a few new perspectives to the 4-way picture of the top teams in the USA and in the world. posted: Nov 2nd, 2010 The new Arizona Airspeed lineup has been looked at from several different angles, and a new live NSL Talk with Solly Williams will soon add more thoughts to the new situation in the USA. It has been quiet around Perris Fury since Airspeed announced that Fury's original Point, Josh Hall, would move from California to Arizona. However, it is a fact that Perris Fury will continue.
