Did you know that Team4speed had a good time at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2012? posted: Feb 21st, 2012 The Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2012 also included a high-profile VFS 4way competition. The currently two best teams in the world, 2010 world champion and World Cup winner of 2011, Team4speed XP from France, and the US national team SDC Standard XP, plus several well trained other teams presented top 4way performance in all dimensions at Paraclete.
The NSL Network included VFS 4way for a few years at its very beginnings. Low number of teams and events and the lack of information did not allow the NSL News to keep this part of the NSL News coverage and the NSL Network up to date and alive,... (more)
Did you know that the complete French national delegation competed in Paris last weekend? posted: Feb 20th, 2012 Not only the scores of NMP-PCH Hayabusa and Aerodyne Aerokart at the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2012 deserved special attention. The first NSL News update mentioned that the rest of the field of 22 AAA Class in Paris was just as interesting.
The scores from Paris, especially the ones on the very top of the leaderboard, require an adjustment though that can only be estimated. Solly Williams, DeLand Majik 4way world champion of 2004 and professional coach, said that he would deduct approx. 1.5 points per round considering the easier start into each sequence with a Star.
However, even this... (more)
Did you know that NMP-PCH Hayabusa and Aerodyne Aerokart pushed each other again last weekend? posted: Feb 20th, 2012 New scores have replaced the ones of the Paraclete XP Indoor Championships 2012, and they are also related to a windtunnel competition.
The Paraclete leaderboard was exciting enough with Arizona Airspeed's 30.0 average after ten rounds. It still did not impress Airspeed's two top challengers too much who pushed each other once again to new performance levels. NMP-PCH Hayabusa and Aerodyne Aerokart posted their own top scores two weeks later at the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2012 in Paris, France, and the Belgian and French 10-round averages (33.1 - 32.8) are the highest scores in the history... The NSL Poll of the Super Sequence ran parallel with the question whether the IPC judging rules should include slower motion reviews in the future. The NSL News audience made a very clear statement in favor of slower motion, and the IPC Meeting approved the new rules a few weeks later in Argentine. The story on 12 February 2012 broke... (more)
